ROCKYAlpha Force Waterproof Public Service Boot

Great looking boot. You can tell that the insides are well designed to conform to your feet. One of the great features is that they’re sturdy,good priced, and already shined if that is part of your profession. Great looking overall boot.

I bought the Rocky Alpha Force 6" SWAT Boot as a boot to use at work on concrete for full days, with grease/debris and an occasional wet environment (washed down nightly)... I have been very happy with the comfort of this boot, although I would like a speed lace system better, as it does take a bit to really get the boot laced properly. As for the "Rocky Waterproof Construction", I am not convinced this boot is truly waterproof. It seems as though I am experiencing small leaks here and there which causes my sock to get wet. I switch off these boots with a pair of Merrell hikers to give them a rest every other day. Was hoping these would be 5 star boots, and would replace my previous types of work boot purchases in the future... I'm not sure this is the case though.

These were for my very picky husband. He normally refuses to wear black footwear but he LOVES these and they are true to his normal shoe size. These Boots shipped fast and arrived just in time because his old boots "blew out" as he said the day they arrived!!!! Thank You!!

I bought these a few days after starting a new job that required me to walk 18-25 miles a shift. I was drawn to the advertisement of "military style" and that they'd been an established business for years. If there's one thing I can get on board with concerning hoofing, hiking, and putting on some miles, it's military gear.I was miserable for the 2 days I wore these on shift. Absolutely miserable.I ordered wide. The box they came in said they were wide. There was no way they were wide. Felt like my feet were in a bench vice.The toe box was the worst part. It felt like the toe box on each boot was pointed outward from the rest of the boot. After two 12 hour shifts of hiking through cell blocks in these boots, I was at my wit's end with these boots. I had blisters on both feet so bad that I had to scramble to the pharmacy to figure out some foot relief remedy to make it through the rest of the week and the next.I bought a pair of hiking boots at Walmart years ago, just to have some throw-aways for a weekend trip. After that weekend, I vowed that those were the worst footwear I'd ever wasted money on. I think these took the place on the mantle. Disappointed really.

They fit a little snug around my toes and they're really tight around the ankle. I haven't quite figured out how to get around the overly tight ankle. I've tried loosening them, putting strings through different eyelets, and none of it seems to work. I usually wear a 13EE, and these are a little too small. They're good looking boots and I enjoy wearing them, but maybe it just takes a while to break them in? I wear them at my law enforcement job, so they fit with my department's uniform code and they're sharp looking boots. They grip the ground good and they're pretty comfortable for walking. I hear Rocky boots have a problem with the soles coming off, but I just started wearing mine. I hope not, because they're pretty nice boots! I'm just hoping the ankle area will loosen up and become more comfortable over time.

Boots are true to form and does the job. I know that this brand will not let me down while on the job.

Boots fit great but laces are garbage been wearing for one week and there already coming apart

I ordered this pair of boots do to having already owned a pair of Rocky boots though in a different model. They arrived on time as is expected from amazon, however when i attempted to put them on they were by far to narrow to actually get my foot in. No i ware a size 12 4E and as I cannot find boots in that size I have to go a size up usually. I own a pair of Rocky hot weather boots in a size 13 and they fit fine so my thinking in ordering a size 13 wide was that they should fit even better. NOT THE CASE!!!!! I wouldn’t even consider these boots a 13D these boots would only fit well if you have narrow feat.I gave it a 2 star because the boots look well-constructed and I would have really liked to wear them. As a security officer who is on his feet 8 hours a day and walking on concrete for most of it and on rugged terrain the rest I am like so many others on the eternal hunt for the one great pair of boots that will satisfy all my needs. Sadly this pair of boots did not make the cut before I could put them to the test, simply do to the extremely narrow design.
