Impressed at first but let down after only a few uses
Rod worked well for the most part and felt great quality for an affordable price! However, after only 3 uses the rod snapped in half after attempting an overhead cast.

The Best Carp Rod Heavy Duty but Light Rod.
Daiwa Black Widow is European model that in N. America is called Maddragon (MD), less shiner than MD. The model G50 is 4.5lb test rod witch is on the heavy side with nice parabolic action that will handle any carp. That will allow you to use thinner line as well. Strongly recommended Rod for serious carp fishing. Long distance casting approximately 150 g of carp feeder with staffed with food approximately 100 m of distance.Seller is great and well recommended. I never consider the time for delivery because that is not review of the product, but service provided by other parties such as Canada Post, UPS, DHL, etc.I owe Daiwa MD 2.75lb that is light duty compare with 4.5lb, I like both rods. Strongly recommended rod.Carp around 15LB no problem handling the fish.
