I bought this rod so I could hang all my spray bottles up high under my sink to give me more space in the cabinet. It fits perfectly and is strong enough to hold 7 spray bottles.

Depends On Your Needs
I had two extra curtain panels and decided to hang them in the doorway of my daughter's bathroom that is connected to her bedroom. The panels are sheer & very lightweight so I didn't need anything heavy duty, and I didn't want anything that would leave holes to later patch up. I also didn't want to spend much money on it. This tension rod did the trick. It has fallen down a few times over the past five months, but it's no big deal and is probably due to my daughter playing with it. I am overall happy with my purchase but would not recommend this for anything heavier than sheer panels.

Not Worth The $$
Arrived bent into a happy smile. Or maybe it was a frown turned upside down. Returned. Not worth the $$ - the same cheap quality item is less than $3.00 from Amazon's biggest Big Box competitor.

It's what it says it is.
It was actually a tad nicer than I thought it would be at this price. Some of these tension rods require you to set the spring by screwing in a piece of hardware in to a spring. This one just works without having to do that. Right out of the packaage and on to the window, 1, 2, 3.As a side note, this little thing came in a huge box with a ton of those air pockets. It was a terrible waste of packaging materials.

Good for light curtains, bad for heavy curtains.
Pros: Low Price, Easy to Use, Does Job.Cons: Cheap quality. The spring inside the rod is fairly low quality and does not apply a great amount of pressure. Heavier curtains may not work for this rod. The rubber "stoppers" on the outside do not have much friction and slip occasionally. This rod works well for lighter curtains. If heavier curtains are being used, find another rod.

Sad.
I was excited to receive this in the mail, put it up in the window right away. I left it up for a couple weeks while trying to decide on fabric and it fell down... empty! I'm not sure if it's a faulty spring or I didn't have it up right (I'm certain I did). I will try again and revise my review if it ends up working.

Works Well
I like these curtain rods because on some windows having to put up a nail in curtain rod doesn't work well.

A little flimsy, but works as described
I am using this to hang sheer curtains in my office, so I haven't placed much weight on it. I don't think it would do well with heavier curtains, but for my purpose it has worked well. It was thinner and a little more flimsy than I expected, but easy to set up and durable.

Cheap quality
This pressure rod is super flimsy. I was going to use it to hang spray bottles on, which is a bit heavier than what it's intended purpose would be, but I'm not even sure this thing would secure a curtain, as I couldn't even get it hanging sturdily without anything on it. Might be great for hanging tissue paper.

Great for your RV Refrigerator
I bought these to put on the front of the shelves of my RV refrigerator. It keeps things from rolling out when you open the refrigerator door. The tension spring allows you to place and remove them as you need them. Wouldn't be without them and they are not expensive.

Tension Rod for Bathroom window treatment.
A little on the small side, but since I had a light PVC window treatment, it did the trick.

Five Stars
I like using these much better than having to mount hardware. Great alternative for curtains.

Not sure why they say toilet tension rod but they are great curtain rods.

it does have good tensile strength and has never fallen
Does the job! I needed to cover a window adjacent to my back door. While the rod is holding up a sheer curtain, it does have good tensile strength and has never fallen.
