This cage has spindly wires. I have the exact same kennel that has double the thickeness in wire . We really needed a second kennel so we are using it . But we are happy with it

As a professional dog trainer, I can always use another crate. I order this small crate in anticipation of an upcoming litter we are expecting. Once the puppies are 6-7 weeks old, we begin to get them accustomed to spending a little time in a crate (usually when they get fed or are giving a chew treat, as it makes it a very pleasant experience.) This double door crate is perfect for my needs. I truly appreciate the dual door options because one never knows where the best spot might be to place a crate, and it's not always where the door on the long end is suitable. It's also easier to reach into a crate from the longer end door. This meets my needs and also meets the product description - which for me is an important quality when I'm shopping.

I ordered this so I could put my cat in this and set next to my dog in her crate to introduce them. Since I rescued one of my dog, my cat has had to stay in a closed room so the dog won't tear her up. I asked the shelter if she was okay with cats and they would not check for me. Hoping with them side by side in crates, that they can learn to live with each other. I could not return the dog as she was in shelter for ten months and I didn't want her stuck in there any longer. This crate in the perfect size and easy to set up and will give her plenty of room to get comfortable. A good size for a small dog as well. If the crate was bigger and they used the same thickness of wire, I would not trust it with a bigger dog. It is perfectly sturdy for this size.

Metal is very thin very lightweight. There are heavier duty options on chewy for the same price.

I got this because I bring my Cheagle to work and sometimes I need to keep her contained. This is perfect.
