Animal Learning Fun!
This learning toy was a great addition to my Special Education Classroom. It was bought specifically for a non-verbal autistic learner. He enjoyed putting the colors together to form the animals. While it's understood that it incorporates letters too; he looks more at the colors and shapes, which still works. Even if your students don't put them together to match the letters it still builds their motor skills and eventually they will recognize the letters. This will be a great addition to a special education, daycare, Pre-K, or kindergarten classroom.

Fun little alphabet animals, but . . .
I ordered these animal toys for my Maine Coon kitty boy, Max, rather than for a human child. This 1-year-old cat is very active and loves to discover and kick around new "toys" (small plastic parts of anything) all over the house, whether they belong to him or not. Therefore, when I saw these on Amazon, I thought these may be some great new toys to keep this kitty boy busy and out of our stuff. These hard plastic animals are the perfect size for Max to bat around the house and there are plenty of them in different shapes and colors! They all have two separate pieces with a capital letter and small letter that come together at the middle to make one animal. I am glad to find that the two pieces are fit together pretty tightly, so they are not easily broken apart when Max bats them around on the hard floor. While these are great learning toys for children, I have a real concern that if a child was left alone with these small plastic animals and the animals are separated into two pieces, the child could accidentally swallow one of the half pieces! I have the same concern with my GSD and these small half pieces. Although, he rarely touches any toys or things in the house that are not his, I know I need to be careful not to leave them lying around the house when I am not present. Therefore, I WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND ADULT SUPERVISION when having any child play with these small hard plastic pieces. Why this comes to mind as such a concern is my personal experience. When I was a small child, I was playing with a hard plastic toy that was even larger than these and the head piece separated from body and, while I was concentrating on watching a television show, I accidentally swallowed the body part of this toy and it got lodged in my esophagus! So, again, I caution parents to supervise young children whenever they are playing with these small hard plastic learning toy animals.

Alphabet learning toy!
Cute alphabet learning toy, good for probably at least 3 years old +, teaching kids lower and upper cases, plus animals. Nice colors, reasonable size on smaller side. Good value.

very cute
my students love these, they are very cute and easy to assemble for 3-5 year olds. I only gave it 4 stars because one did break only 30 minutes after having it out. but the others held on well and my students really enjoy it. There are two of every animal so its nice because my students were matching the animals and it adds a level of complexity for my older students because they really have to look at the letters they are macthing

Adorable
Fantastic toy to help littles with their letter recognition and sorting. Creates fun conversation about the animal and what matches and what doesn’t. We talk about colors, the animal, the patterns and the letters. Great tool for your little.

Check before you give to your littles
A few of our little animals weren't fully popped together by the manufacturer. The animals are Supposed to come apart front half + Back Half, but each half is also made up of 2 molded plastic pieces that snap together permanently. A few of ours we had to pop together. It wasn't hard, I just was worried about our daughter accidentally pinching her fingers if she noticed and tried to do it herself. Otherwise this is a nice set, even though our daughter isn't quite ready to start matching her alphabets together yet. The peg + hole is square, and are interchangeable between different animals. (Hippo Head plus Rhino bum, for example). The quality of the plastic feels good, I can't tell if the letters and decorative patterns on the animals are painted or part of the plastic, but they feel like they'll last. The storage bag though, isn't great. It's drawstring which is nice, but I'm pretty sure it'll be ruined if my kid gets ahold of it. It really should have the plastic bag warning on it - to not give it to your kids as a breathing hazard.

Overall Okay
Good quality material for product design. Animals are cute and colors are bold and accurate. Easily able to manipulate putting the animals together and taking them apart. It comes with a bag for storage. Great fun item for targeting various preacademic and emergent literacy skills, as well as vocabulary during pretend play or sensory bin activities. Only disappointed that it isn't 26 different types of animals. Can be seen as a pro or a con depending on how you want to use the product.
