An entertaining and witty story. Colin and Violet have a relationship built on deception but their time together forces them to take a new perspective of each other.

This is a quick read. I read it in one sitting. The plot was fast paced.It was very entertaining.

Cassandra Dean writes a very funny and romantic story about a women's relationship between her self awareness and the man who brings it to light.You will enjoy this short novella immensely.A must read

This story has a heroine who loathes the hero. He likes to pester her to get a reaction. They get into a compromising situation and as they go through a courtship find out that they really don’t know the other person. It was a good, quick read with some humorous moments.

Loathe-to-love/fake-engagement novella where you see their relationship change and grow over several weeks. I love how he enjoys playfully needling her at first. They are adorable together and I loved the little bantering scenes. Kissing only, but it felt right for the light, fun feel of this one. Colin goes on the book boyfriend list. They were so cute when they admitted their *like* for each other.Sad to have this series end, but definitely looking forward to whatever comes next from Dean.Thank you to the author for the ARC. I absolutely loved this charming short story! It is filled, page after page, of clever and delightful banter between Lady Violet and the Duke of Meacham (Colin) . Violet absolutely despises him, so when they are forced into pretending a courtship, and spending increasing amounts of time together, the sparing and bickering are at full scale, as emotions run deep. But there is a fine line between loathing and loving , and soon there is no more pretending for these two. A most enjoyable read!
