Very easy to use
Bought this to empty my laz y spa, had to be better than using a hose pipe. Told about it by a friend. So bought it and what a difference. Dropped it in,plugged it in to the mains, put the waste pipe into the drain switched it on and it was empty in 10mins.

Did the job
I used this to empty my swimming pool so it could be regrouted and top edge replaced. Took a while but it did empty 15000 gallons. I don't think it was meant for such a big job but it coped well. Used garden hose pipe as one supplied wasn't long enough but that was easy to connect. Very pleased overall.

Fantastic!
I didn't dislike anything on this item. Fantastic piece of equipment that empty's my pool really quickly. What I did like about it was the wire was very long for easy reach to a plug in to the mains. It took the water to a small bowl size, when I lifted the pool up. Slightly noisy when the water level is low but that's expected. Fantastic price! Well worth the price.

Excellent
This pump is brilliant.I needed to empty my 14 ft x 42 in pool and had tried syphoning it but it was flooding my garden as there is no outside drain in the garden.I purchased the pump and attached a garden hose to it and pumped the water out into the drain about 15ft from the pool.It worked perfectly, and, only left a small amount of water in the pool.Wish I'd bought it sooner.Would highly recommend it.

Does what it’s supposed to
Came on time, easy to use, literally plug n play. Drains a lay-z-spa St Moritz in around 10 minutes instead of nearly 40 just ‘pulling the plug’.Pump Starts sucking air at around 1-2 inches of water level left but by then it’s easy enough to pick up 1 side of the hot tub and it will carry on draining nearly all the water left, to a point where u can just tip the last bit out.1 and only down side I’ve found so far is the pump doesn’t have an on/off switch, pump turns on the minute you turn the socket on, which can be an issue when your already holding 1 side of the hot tub in the air, and as any other water pump, pumping air will eventually break the it. (Clues in the name-water pump)Included discharge hose (roughly 5 metres) is really simple to fit and comes with a locking clamp. A adaptor for a garden hose comes included in the box too, and although I haven’t used it, it appears to fit all standard ‘hozeloc type’ hose fittings.Pump came with a moulded 13 amp UK style plug and a long, I’d guess again roughly 5 metre cable.Long and short of it, it’s a water pump, that does what it says on the tin, drains medium volumes of water reasonably quickly from the bottom of unit, if u want this for a lay-z-spa or similar type jacuzzi and/or u can deal with having roughly an inch of water left, I can’t really find any faults with it, if u want something to drain every last ml of water u probably want something else, and to be fair will probably pay a lot more.As a side note this pump seems to work a lot better than the lay-z-spa own brand pump, and at the price I payed is also only 2/3rds the price

Fantastic for kids pool!
Used for 3.66m bestway pro max steel pool, didnt fully submerge as id already syphoned my pool with 4 cut hoses but was left with about an inch or so of water at the bottom. First steel frame pool so deflating one side wasnt an option. Not really any setup required, i used my own hose and the connector provided. Easy! I set it at one side of the pool with a hose running at the other to help rinse it out. It emptied the water faster than it filled with my hose which was just what i needed to rinse it out efficiently. Eventually when the water level got too low i was then able to easily move the bottom of the pool to rinse what little was remaining into one quarter of the pool using the creases of the pool bottom to hold it. Then used the pump again to empty the remaining puddle. What was left was tea towel worthy, a cup full of water if that.Really pleased wish id have had one all these years ago. Great product so easy to use and fast to empty the water out. Will keep my cut up hose syphons for when the pool is in use though.Definitely recommend

Easy to use, connecting to a narrow hose may reduce pump speed
This is easy to use - plug it in and it starts pumping, the power lead is long which is great. The hosepipe attachment is useful but it's a lot slower to pump through the hose mainly because a standard garden hose can probably handle one third of what this pump can output. Halfway through my pumping using a garden hose, I swapped to the supplied wide hose and it emptied my medium-sized paddling pool with a few hundred litres of water in about 10 minutes.
