Exactly the knife I wanted to add to my collection! Perfect size and shape. Handles well and has the metal from the blade extending well into the handle a a quality knife should. Well balanced. Love it!

The blade is giant and eye catching. Where your forefinger goes is curved but I do wish it was winder for ergonomics to rest your finger on. The handle is way too short and the metal piece on the back rests in your palm. It has a point so this is not comfortable at all. And the sheath is ok but has a front piece that wraps the handle instead of there being nothing making it hard to remove the blade. Says it has an ebony handle which is cool if true. And says Japan all over it but where’s it made? Seller is in China so hard to say b

For the price they’re good knives. I use them exclusively when I cut meat, and that’s every day since that’s all I eat!!! Seem to hold an edge well and I’ll find out how they sharpen up later.

Haven’t sharpened it yet and I used it for months and it’s still sharp as it was the first time I used it Great buy won’t be disappointed

I've never bought a 'real' knife before. Sure, I've gotten the knife pack o 6 at the dolla store. This baby is a work of art in comparison! It's hellasharp and makes cutting raw meat a cinch where it used to take me a looong time with the generic knives. I've also used it for dicing green onions, which made nice precise pieces. My old knives would cut the white part well enough but just kinda crush and mash the more green areas. The result would be smashed, jagged shreds of green onion. Highly recommend this beauty and LOVE that it comes with a very cool leather protective sheath which I have already lost somewhere.....

I got this for my boss who is an avid fisherman and loved it! Great quality and nice size. It also comes in a nice box for gift giving.

I have to admit that I haven't had the opportunity to use this. But the knife has an excellent weight and is very balanced in my hand, and I have small hands. It is very sharp, and I feel it will do an excellent job to debone meat and take skin off salmon when I need to.
