The notches on the wooden pieces are too big, causing much breakage trying to remove them from the background. Many of them left chunks behind which pulled off layers of wood. None of the led lights work. The music box is of poor quality making only metallic clanking sounds. And the topper of them all, the second story floor piece was missing. I had to fabricate one out of cardboard, causing the measurements to be off. The instructions were insufficient for a first time builder. I have assembled many of these so I was able to get it done, but no way could a first-timer could have done so. The price was too high for the poor quality.

How do I get a piece I am missing?

Takes time to assemble but that's part of the fun.

This was missing several little beads and some of the pieces came broken. I've made it work but there's a clear quality assurance issue.I've attached a photo of just one issue.Edit: updating to 2 starts because they reached out and offered a refund. I'll probably try one more kit to see if the quality was a fluke.

I cannot wait to put this out for my Halloween set! This is very dark and gothic looking and has a bit of difficulty because of the parts. But it is completely doable if you to give it a go.
