Concealed Carry Tooled Leather Shoulder Purse - Concealed Weapon Gun Bag w/ Matching Wallet By Montana West (Black)

Prepare for a long review: I spotted this purse and wallet for my mother-in-law. Her birthday is coming up, she needs a new purse, and has her concealed carry liscense. I sent this to her asking if she believes that my mom would like this as a gift. You know, just trying to get a feel if she (my MiL) would like it. She gave me an unbiased answer so I decided to keep looking. Imagine my surprise when 2 hours later I got a notification saying that my "order" has shipped! Ahhhh! Curse that dang "buy now" tab that is now disabled.I then informed my MiL of my mistake and said we can return it if you end up not liking it. The package arrived within the next two days so that was great. I opened it to check out the purse and I fell in love with it myself. The pocket that holds a pistol is big enough to hold my Sprinfield XD-9 9mm that has a 5 inch barrel. So if she ended up not liking it I was definitely going to keep it myself. Both the purse and wallet are made of genuine leather and extremely well made. The purse has many pockets on the inside so that is a nice feature, but I was a little concerned with the size (she likes smaller purses).The next day I took the purse to her and as I was opening up the box and unbagging the purse and wallet. I was telling her my concern. She was surprised that it came with a wallet and the quality/feel of the leather. She informed me of her need of a new wallet. Score!As I showed her the purse she commented on how beautiful it was but the size may be bigger than she likes. I then put my salesmanship skills to the test. I informed her that she can fit any size pistol in the back pocket and told her about all the pockets on the inside as I'm taking out all the stuffing. Once the stuffing was out it magically shrunk down. She loved all of the pockets on the inside and decided that it wasn't as big as we initially thought. Score! I'm so glad I was able to find something for her birthday even if it was an accident and a purse for myself! I ordered the coral one in the same style.

Works great for concealed, easy access in and out. The purse holds all my needs and sits on my shoulder like it was made just for me. Great workman ship. Very pleased and will recommend it all day long.

Buy it.. It is well worth the money

I admit, I'm always leery about ordering certain things online. Luckily, Amazon makes it easy for me. So, I spent a week contemplating on whether or not I wanted to get this and I finally gave in. I'm so glad that I did. The purse is nicely made, well stitched. It came wrapped nicely to keep it from being damaged. The wallet was an added bonus that I really like. Although I don't have my concealed permit just yet, the concealed pocket is perfect for my gun, so once I have it, I'll have no problems carrying. If you're contemplating getting this, I suggest you do. I'm very happy that I did.

I absolutely love the purse. It is firm and the gun pocket is awesome! The leather smells nice....HOWEVER, I am super disappointed in the wallet. It is useless. The pockets are too big for credit cards so the card goes all the way down into the pocket where there is no part of the card sticking up to grab. I'll be sticking the wallet in my garage sale pile. The worst part is I could have gotten the purse without the wallet for $30-35 less. And now it's just too much of a hassle to send back and buy the walletless one. Save your money and buy just the purse!

Beautiful purse, and if you like them LARGE - this is for you! Way too big for me (only reason for 4-stars), I had to return. They were AWESOME and tried to help me find a smaller carry purse. Try the messenger bags if you prefer a smaller purse. Beautifully made!

This purse is absolutely beautiful and made well. My 9mm fits perfect in the pouch. It's roomy, big but not to big. I'm ordering all colors. Love love love!

The purse is nice but it's really large. Montana west doesn't have a secure holster system for you handgun. It's just a lined pocked kinda shaped like a handgun and for me that's no secure enough. I've been carrying for over 20 years so I was very disappointed that they are treating handgun security so lightly. So I returned it. But beware they charge a 15% restocking fee and no where does it say that. Rip off.
