If you like to make breakfast sandwiches, these little molds will make it easy.Quality: Very sturdy STEEL molds that have a collapsible handle with a silicone cap.I love the cute shapes. Mickey, star, circle, heart, flower. Fun food! When making the breakfast sandwich I used one mold for egg and one for sausage. I put a pan cover over the egg for cooking (pushed the handle down a little) . I had to fiddle a little with the sausage to get it in the mold, but that was more operator failure than anything else. Flipped the sausage out of the mold to finish cooking, added a piece of cheese, and built my sandwich. I love it! Made a few sandwiches and froze them for quick workday breakfast.I also made burgers for a card party. First, I pressed the mold into my bread. I messed up a few slices until I got it right, but it eventually worked. I put the meat in the mold and when it was ready to flip, I turned over the mold, the burger fell out & I finished cooking it. Placed the burger on the bread and served --smiles all around!Pancakes would be great in these too, but I'm not a big pancake fan so I can't give any input there. They clean up easily and store flat in the silverware drawer. If you like making meals fun, these are a good choice.5 stars is definitely warranted. Enjoy!

The thicker the better
These are great for if you’re trying to make regular meals into something cute and playful. I really like the different shapes the provide which makes it easier to do batches. I noticed if the substance isn’t thick enough, it does leak out the backs in a little bit through the sides. Something like scrambled eggs or a more runny pancake batter seem to see-through easier than those that are thicker or have additional items in them. I did use the heart as a patty mold for my hamburgers but they don’t maintain shape after cooking. They are also great to use as cookie cutters. Cleaning was pretty easy especially if you do it right away. We use a straw cleanser to help get into the crevices.

These are fun for eggs or pancakes
What a fun way to jazz up breakfast time when making things like eggs or pancakes! These molds are sturdy and well made, and the handle that folds up or down is a great addition to prevent burning yourself. The various different shapes are great- especially for kids, who like to eat food that looks “fun” and exciting. A couple notes…these will work better if you spray them ahead of time with a nonstick cooking spray. And secondly, try to use them in a pan that is completely flat. The first time I used them, I had them in a frying pan that wasn’t totally flat, so egg seeped out from underneath the mold and didn’t hold shape quite as well as it could have. That’s on me, not the quality of the product though. These would make a fun gift for both a child or adult!

Difficult to Clean Egg Residue from Molds
These egg molds are incredibly sturdy, even though their handles can rotate 360 degrees around the molds themselves. The rubber tips on the ends of the handles ensured that the molds weren't too hot to hold while removing them from my poaching water (although I still used a pair of oven mitts as a precaution). But unfortunately, these molds were not non-stick. Given that my goal is to eliminate unnecessary oil in my cooking processes, I was excited to use these molds for healthier egg preparation. After two separate cooking attempts - one poaching without oil, and one with a light spray of oil on the molds - it was incredibly difficult to remove the eggs from the molds when no oil was used. I had to slide a paring knife around the interior of the mold to release the eggs, which caused the egg formation to look ragged.Additionally, the star mold was impossible to fully clean - even after my soaking the mold in water for several days. The heart mold wasn't as difficult to clean; I'm assuming this is due to the edges present in the star shape.Given how finicky the molds are to use, and that they're not truly non-stick, I doubt I will use them on a regular basis - and instead save them for when I'm cooking for guests who don't mind additional oil being added to their eggs.

Such a great idea! I just need a better pan to use them in
These are really well made. The handles fold down for easy storage and pop right up easily when you need them. They do not scratch the pan at all. They hold the batter in the shape IF/WHEN you have a flat pan. The pan i was using was not flat enough, and the batter slipped out underneath... next time, I will use a flatter pan, or I will try to hold the shape down for a few seconds til the edges get hard.Clean up is super easy too. I wash them by hand cuz I don't put specialty items in the dishwasher. These are all different shapes, but all the pancakes cooked evenly cuz they hold pretty much the same volume. They turned out so cute, the pancakes did NOT stick to the shapes, and I just tossed out the part that slipped out underneath.Love this idea, next time I will use a better pan.
