Very Dark Display
If I needed to rely on this as a long term portable display I would return it and spend a little bit more money.Unlike many USB-C monitors this requires an external, but included, power supply. This very much reduces the portability of the display. This is indicated in the photos above, so this was not a surprise, though I was hoping that it would be an error and it could be usb powered, but it cannot.Knowing that it had a PSU, however, I was hoping for a better screen, or at least a brighter screen. Many larger USB-C powered displays max out on brightness because they are pulling more power than the USB-C port can output. Even so, of the several USB-C powered 18 inch displays I own, they are ALL brighter than this. Simply said, this is a very dark display, even at 100 percent. Turning up the RGB just seems to wash everything out.It was an inexpensive display, I know. that being said, it is barely worth what you do pay for it. Cheap, but unusable, is a waste of money. This display is cheap, but barely usable.
