Very nice bancha tea
Overall great tea. Smells incredible, and tastes great. I used about 3g of tea per 100mL of water at 80°C, and steeped for about 30 seconds each time. It came out very good! It is on the expensive side for the small package, though, but it is a nice sampler.

Good tea
This didn't have too strong a flavor and tasted as expected. Because it was a sample size I was also likely using less in my teabag which balances it out if you dont like strong teas. I did bag mine to brew in a mug. You'll need a teabag, infuser, or a way to sieve out the leaves for a pour there's large pieces, but some of it is finer. My photo's not great, and it was a weaker brew for me but it looks like dried grass. I've had an item change on me in the far past. At purchase this was called "Shizuoka's Finest Organic Bancha tea - JAS Certified, Non-GMO, No-additives, Authentic Japanese Origin, 100% Pure Premium Bancha (roasted green tea) leaves, 10 gram travel size bag (10 gram travel size bag)" This is a new product, so it's description may adjust to suit the product over time. The picture shows what I got.

Really nice tea!
This review is for “All Day I Eat Like A Shark | Tea Shop - Shizuoka's Finest Organic Bancha tea”. I always appreciate the opportunity to try different teas of Japan. This is a really nice tea and I really like the flavor. I especially appreciate that Bancha tea is low in caffeine, as I am sensitive and can normally only have one caffeinated beverage a day. With this tea, I get to cheat a little. The dried tea leaves are a beautiful green and have almost a fruity scent. I’m finding it really difficult to describe how Bancha tastes. It is light but flavorful. It has an astringent quality, but not like anything I have ever experienced before. It is pleasant, and I’ve never viewed anything astringent in that way. It is good whether you drink it plain or add sugar or honey to it.I do think it would be helpful if brewing instructions were added to the bag. You can go to their website for brewing information, but you have to read carefully, as the instructions for the amount to use are not in the same section as information for temperature and brew times. I ended up missing it the first time I read through and went on a lengthy internet search. From the website, for your convenience: “Measure out your tea leaves with precision – around 1 tablespoon per cup of water should do the trick, but adjust to your taste.” Here is a summary of the rest of the instructions: Heat water to 80°C to 85°C (176°F to 185°F), steep 30 seconds to one minute, pour tea through strainer. I read on another site that Bancha can be steeped up to 4 times. I tried this and it tasted great every time. However, because I missed the instructions on how much to use, I did end up using a little more than the recommended amount.I think this is a great tea and I’m thankful for the opportunity to try it!!!

Few servings, but good tea
This didn't come with any preparation instructions or serving size recommendations on the pack, and unlike in the photo shown also didn't say how many servings it could yield, but it does have a link, where I found the information of using approximately 1 tablespoon per cup of water. Measuring out the tea leaves before using them, I would estimate similarly to what it says here, that this can yield up to three servings. Three if you aren't generous with the leaves, but definitely at least two. It's also possible to do an immediate second steep to try and get double the servings out of the bag, so I feel I'll realistically get six servings out of this (so far, I've done two)--though only up to three if you only like the first steep. The second steep is strong enough for me, though that's just personal preference. As for flavor, it has a grassy flavor, and a bit of a bitterness to it. I have had a serving plain, and a serving with sugar. I like it better with sugar, but it's good both ways.I think the main pointer I would make about this is just to pay attention to how small the 10 gram bag option is.

Seamed to have no taste
I'm new to this type of tea. Color was like the green tea, and I could hardly taste the flavor.

Smell good
Smell really good. I just wish it would come with pre-bagged.
