OK, my Hitachi planer did not fit into this cradle, so I bought another one which did. easily fitted the planer into the cradle and realised I had to use this one handed, one hand to push in the safety button and press the trigger and the other would be used to guide the wood over the blades. not sure about anyone else, but I find this extremely dangerous as the control of the wood being planed cannot be steadied.if you are thinking about buying this, make sure the planer you use allows you to lock the trigger on, if not, I can see major accident happening. oh by the way, if you are left handed... good luck.if there is anyone out there that could tell me a solution to this, I would be extremely grateful.
