Sliding Tee Bevel
Excellent quality, the extra long ruler is great for wider boards, nice quality for the bevel in itself, the tightening nut doesn't get in the way in corners like some brands forget, the sharp point is gone ++,build quality is superb tho I did ruff the surface between where ruler goes just for extra grab even tho it didn't need doing.

Excellent sliding bevel(s)
I use sliding bevels quite regularly in my work as a handyman, for some tasks I find them indispensable. For the most part I have been happy to use cheap wooded ones which are perfectly servicible, I have however been on the lookout for a metal example as I like the idea of the additional mass - sometimes the wooden ones can feel a little light and flimsy. I ordered this one and am very pleased that I did.The Presch is excellently made, from the machined body, to the gnurled clamping screw. I like the orange colour as it makes it easy to spot on the bench. The blades are engraved with metric scales on either side, its a breath of fresh air not to have to put up with the ususal imperial ones. Its easy to tighten the locking screw sufficiently to lock the blade in place. Theres a range of angles etched onto one side of the body which is handy but not really something I would use as I tend to use the bevel when working with non standard angles. The little peg that pops out to steady the tool against the edge of the workpiece is both good and bad: it is a breeze using it to transfer angles however it feels a little sharp and can get in the way in use so it would have been nice if it could be fully recessed into the body rather than poking out on one side or the other - not a massive deal but I feel it may become more of an annoyance than benefit in the long run.It comes with interchangeable blades - 19 and 27cm. Both are really nicely finished, marked with metric scales and completely straight. It wouold have been handy if there was some kind of case or holster that housed the bevel and extra blade in the tool bag but I will get round to making one for it at some point. Fantastic bevel.

Quality seems very good
Bought to replace a Veritas one that was stolen on site and is no longer available but pleasantly surprised not quite as good as Veritas but not to far away and at probably a quarter of the price I would definitely recommend

Another high-quality tool from Presch.
I think a lot of care and attention goes into the manufacture of Presch tools and I’ve always been impressed by them. This sliding bevel is another good example. The machining is very nice to look at and I like their distinctive colour. The ruler part of the bevel isn’t the thickest I’ve seen but is perfectly acceptable and keeps parallax errors down to a minimum. The knurled locking knob is large enough to apply plenty of torque to stop things slipping although I would like to see a bit more knurling to increase grip. I like the retractable pin in the handle that can be used to support the bevel on the edge of the material. The inclusion of two lengths of ruler is a nice touch. A handy tip is to insert the new ruler in the gap in the handle before removing the old one. There is quite a bit of spring in the metal and it makes inserting a ruler more difficult when it closes up.The engraving is deep and there’s good contrast to make reading the scale easy.

Top quality tool
This is a really nice quality sliding bevel. The body is a solid piece of aluminium and has a nice solid weight to it. You can tell as soon as you hold it that this is a tool that has been precision made and built to last. Both stainless rules are straight and true, with the markings laser etched into the steel, rather than painted on. It locks up solidly via the big chunky knurled knob. The sliding pin is also a very useful feature that I haven't seen on a sliding bevel before. Really helps to support the body while trying to make a mark. The only thing to add is that I think there should be a washer between the knob and body as this will wear the aluminum over time.I am very happy with it and will be putting it to good use in my wood working hobby. Highly recommended if you are looking for a good quality sliding bevel.

Awesome
Phenomenally well made piece of equipment. I'm only a hobbyist woodworker but this is the sort of professional quality kit I dream about. Anodized aluminium handle looks very funky in orange and the stainless steel ruler is easily adjusted using the large knurled knob (two different length rulers are provided). Manufacturing quality is exceptionally good – everything is cleanly and smoothly finished. It's a pleasure to use, making transferring angles a doddle. You can get cheaper bevel gauges, I'm sure, but the current £23 asking price is a bargain compared to similar quality tools from other manufacturers.
