Im a 38yo man, not to active but when, its working out or some housework and have average sweat- I do not work outside or sweat profusely. Since I was young, I have remained consistent with deodorant buying Old Spice and most recently used Old Spice Wildflower which had a pleasant floral/lavender scent. Loved it. But I wanted to find more lavender scented stuff as I really like that scent. I've used the A La Maison's Sea Salt scented hand lotion and figured I'd go all in A LA Maison body care system.First, the deodorant worked great for me, for about 12hrs. While, it protected me from really stinking but byt the 12th hour, it began to fail, and I had a faint BO smell that only detectable by those who got real close. Since Im not active 12hrs a day and take nightly showers, I can recommend this to line to everyone who has average body chemistry types. The gel went on clean but often builds up around the circumference of the applicator. Often, you'll find that plastic applicator can have sharp corners; not enough to make cuts but enough to make you snarl as you apply the deodorant. It dries fine- I dont feel any uncomfortable greasy residue but like all applied deodorant, the skin isnt left feeling completely clean. All in all, its a fine product.Buuuuuut, if you're looking for a nice lavender scent, you might be better served elsewhere. First, it has a very earthy smell, almost medicinal. Lavender is present in the scent but its overpowered by all the other herbal extracts- which gives me a heavy "I buy all my body care products from the all-natural aisle" vibe- which does not align with my beliefs. If you've tried and smelled Dr. Bronners Lavender castile soap then you've smelled what I was expecting. Overtime, that earthy medicinal scent fades to a faint clean scent but it is still not lavender.That said, I still use the product and I would recommend it to anyone who asks but really stress that if youre hoping to smell like bathed in straight lavender essential oil (which, dont be stupid, is not advised) then you might need to look elsewhere.

The smell is good (natural, earthy), but reapplication throughout the day is necessary. I probably won't buy again.

I love this brand of body and hand liquid soaps (with Lavender Aloe and Rosemary Mint being my top fave body wash formulas and scents ever). I've been using natural deo's for about three years now, so I'm way past the detox phase. This particular scent is one I absolute adore!I love that this is a clear formula that's invisible on the skin, it glides on easily without being tacky/sticky (or gritty), it dries up fast and it doesn't transfer to or stain clothes!!! All major pluses and selling points for me. I apply it twice in 24 hr period: I shower at night so I use a very light coat of this (two-three non-overlapping swipes), and then another light coat in the morning. Theses days it's 80-90+ degree weather outside in New England, and this thing WORKS for me.Some reviews mentioned that it feels wet and "soapy", but that tends to happen when you apply too much (several coats that overlap). However, even then in a few minutes it dries and does what it's supposed to do -- combats BO 100%. So I recommend figuring out how much of it is needed to be applied.The scent is light and seems to disappear within 30 mins. Some people prefer that, but I am so in love with this scent and would've loved for it to last as long as possible. Bottom line: if this formula doesn't irritate your skin, works well with your body chemistry at preventing BO without having to reapply during the day, then get this product, especially if you hate deo's that either show on your skin/transfer to clothes/stain light color or white clothes.

I have tried several brands and this is the first one that leaves under arms dark plus it works all day . Smells great . It was definitely a winner.
