Not bad, needs and anti-siphon valve
Purchased this to deal with my dead 1967 sump pump. Seems to work well, and installation was a breeze!I will say however, it only has 2 flaws.First, is no anti siphon / drain-back valve. If you have a lift section right off your sump you'll want to place a valve where it transitions, or it will pump and then suck everything in the trash line back into the sump basin through the pump. $5 fix.Second, its a bit noisy. It is completely suspended with no direct contact to the house outside of the trash line routing through the crawlspace and outside. You can hear it every time it kicks on. First sump I've had that I can.For the price its a good choice. If the above sways your vote then...

Quiet and pumps a lot of water!
This pump is quiet and pumps a lot of water - BUT - the float will stick in the "ON" position and the motor was just running and running without water. I lightly pushed down on the float and it shut off.It stuck on my 3 times and I had to manually shut it off by lightly pushing down on the floatPerhaps a heavier weight would hold it down, but I'm returning this sump pump in favor of the USA manufactured ones for another $50.00 extra.
