The GEL-KAYANO™ 14 running shoe conveys a new perception of the shape of a retro running shoe and is revived with its late 2000s aesthetics reminiscent of our legendary GEL-KAYANO™ series. This model reinterpreted the shoe's high-performance features with updated materials and components and was the first release in sneaker history designed by someone other than Toshikazu Kayano. This season surrender revives the legendary values of the franchise while marking an evolution in performance development. By mimicking the original fabrication of the midsole with GEL™ technology cushioning, this shoe also improves the fit of the upper while maintaining the 2008 leather and mesh layer structure. In addition, the insole is manufactured using a solution dyeing process to reduce water consumption by 33% and CO2 emissions by approx. 45%
