Very Comfortable
Strap was very comfortable! My only issue is that I didn’t look at the strap length… its is no where near as long as your typical Ernie Ball strap… but that is my fault still a great strap

Thoughts on the product
A bit long but okay. I modified it easily.

Comfortable strap. Easiest locking system using standard strap buttons.
I have several guitar straps in a variety of materials. Some lock or have locking devices; some have standard, non-locking ends. Some are stage-y (e.g., studded, decorated, or even covered in faux fur); some are utilitarian. Like the description says, this one is mostly made of neoprene and locks. To my mind, it is more on the utilitarian end. This is not to say it is bad looking -- it is not; it looks well-made and is a really good aesthetic match for my neon green super strat with black hardware -- but rather to say it is not in any way, flamboyant.I like the locking system. It is easier to attach to a guitar than a standard strap, or locking systems that attach to normal strap buttons (e.g., Lock-it, Planet Waves, or Fender strap rings). While this isn't the locking system you want if you need to set your axe on fire and windmill it around your head, I am confident whatever guitar it is attached to is not going to hit the ground on account of the strap end detaching. I was a bit concerned whether the locking end was going to be bulky, but I don't notice it at all. The plastic used for the ends is nicely rounded and has a slightly rubbery texture. I'm not worried about it scratching the guitar finish.I am a bit puzzled by another review that says it doesn't work with SG-style guitars where the front strap button is on the backside of the guitar body. While (a) I'm not a big fan of the SG strap button design, and (b) for those guitars I prefer a strap that fits more flush (inset locking strap mount or a standard strap), this strap worked just fine. And oh yeah, the strap is comfortable. Its width distributes the weight. The neoprene gives it padding and enough friction to keep the guitar from shifting around, and the edges are rounded so they don't bite.UPDATE (Dec. 2021): I've had this strap for a year and a half, and it has lived on the abovementioned "neon green super strat," a Schecter Sun Valley. By "lived," I mean the strap never comes off the guitar, even when it is sitting in a stand. I want to report that I see zero scratches from the strap. Just thought I would mention that after reading reviews saying the strap will scratch your guitar. Shrug, maybe YOURS, but not mine.

Buckle snapped in half after 5 months of light usage
tl:drBuckle snapped in half while I was playing after 5 months of light usage. Was using this exclusively for my Les Paul, which weighs ~10 lbs. I only play at home, play standing roughly half the time I play, and when I do stand, I'm not jumping around or doing anything that would put stress on the strap. Also have other guitars in my rotation, so my LP gets played ~30% of the time. Just snapped while I was playing, and luckily I was in a position to catch my guitar. Seeking a refund.Edit: refund denied by seller, told to contact Ernie Ball directly. Customer support form on Ernie Ball's website doesn't work. at this point not worth my time to call their hotline and try to get my money back.Just a warning for all of those considering this strap or anything else from Ernie Ball. I won't be buying anything made by Ernie Ball in the future.

Comfortable strap, and works great!
It holds up heavy instruments, such as bass guitars, and it's very comfortable. The locking feature seems to work well. I have not had any issues with the strap falling off. There is also no modification needed to use it.

The only straps I buy now.
I bought one of these Ernie Ball straps at a local music store because it looked and felt very nice and comfortable. If you stand to play for long, or have a heavier instrument, these straps are a must! My Les Paul is over 9 lbs. and so is my Peavey T-60. I also play bass, and my 5 string Ibanez and Fender P-bass are just as heavy. The wide padded straps are amazing, and I love the strap locks. I love these straps so much, I now have four of them! You will not be disappointed.

Not worth the money
No improvement over my basic Levi strap and I found it be even more uncomfortable with my heavy bass. It also had a weird chemical smell.
