Lindsay Wagner and Shelley Long star in this sensitive drama about a terminally ill woman's love for her daughter. Holly (Wagner) is an artist who lives a free-spirited life in the country with her young daughter Jenny. When Holly discovers that she is dying of cancer, she asks her close friend Kate (Long) if she will look after Jenny once she's gone. Kate is a high-powered big city business woman who normally has no time for anything but her job; she loves Holly dearly, but will she be able to devote the time necessary to raise a child?

if you want a good cry then watch this film, it really shows how different people cope with the illness. i never cry at films but this one pulled at the heart because it is based on a true story about holly (a single mum) dying of cancer with one worry, who will care for her daughter when she has gone. buy it and watch it!

Great-Must Have
If you are a fan of Lindsay Wagner or Shelley Long this is a dvd to own. The acting is great and the way it is shot was well done. Easy to follow story line. An all around great movie. Do not want to give any thing away, but there are many "sad"moments in the film. Can be enjoyed by all.

Love this movie! I saw it years ago and could not find it on DVD here in the U.S., but so happy to get it from Amazon.com/UKDelivery was very good for coming overseas. Very pleased with my purchase.

Enjoyed this film puts into perspective what people go through not only with cancer but other ailments the affect it has on friends and family
