New York Sketchbook (Sketchbooks) Hardcover – 3 Oct. 2005

this book proved to be somewhat of a suprise! It is much larger than I'd thought it would be and the quality is excellent .......the paper feels like watercolour paper giving the illustrations a real authenticity. I am so thrilled with it that I am going to collect their other books as they are a fabulous way to to take a little walk down memory lane. I bought mine second hand for a crazily cheap price but it is immaculate

This is another example of the greatness of R Moireau as a watercolourist. It is incredible how he manages to depict the modernity of a city like NY with his acclaimed landscape technique. It is a little bit weird seeing skyscrapers with F. Moireau's light and colours but I have to say that the final result is astonishing.Very recommendable book.

Ф series of books with European cities won me over with its beauty and brevity. I recommend to all lovers of watercolor painting.

What can I say. I love New York both because it is my home. No matter where I go New York will always be home.This books is beautiful and in it I get to see some places and things I did not even know where there. This book was a joy and I will also be looking into others like this one.

New York Sketchbook is a wonderful book, with a captivating text and a splendid illustration! The paintings and sketches are so beautiful and inspiring!!! I have never been to New York, but I believe that these pictures do capture its soul the way we all know it from movies and books! They make you dream...
