We had a similar screen some years ago and I expected this one to be as sturdy as the old one. Not so. I am keeping it because I will only use it occasionally to provide privacy for teenage house guests in my den, which doesn't have a door. But I was disappointed that it isn't of higher quality. Also, for all these screens it would be helpful to know how many panels are needed to cover a certain expanse. My 4-panel screen is sufficient to open up across a 60-inch doorway.

I am very happy with this screen; however, I only gave four stars because two panels were damaged when delivered by USPS. It was delivered in just a couple days (one day sooner than I requested - selected Amazon Day delivery).Instead of styrofoam, this probably needs to be packed with outer wood panels (or something similar), to avoid from being smashed.I purchased the five panel screen. It is perfect. Clean lines and bright white. It’s made of quality materials and stands up nice and sturdy. The paper is durable and similar to what I remember from living in Japan if not stronger. I remember easily putting holes in my shoji doors.This is the perfect height & length to hide my room for my video calls. The spacing between the panels is wider than I’d like, but probably necessary for the screen to function properly. Not a big deal - better than a clear view of bedroom.

Although this arrived damaged, it was not really the fault of the shipper. It appears that at least one piece of foam padding between hinge sections was missing, damaging the facing corner of the next panel, and 2 screws were just gone. I had 2 on hand that were nearly identical but silver and touched up the damage with a furniture marker rather than exchange it. It looks like it costs at least 2-3X the price. It's light so it's easy to move, but isn't super sturdy. It really could use a third set of hinges which wouldn't add much weight, but that would strengthen the entire unit and make it better able to handle repeated setup and takedown and I would go 5 stars. Still, it looks great, it's easy to move around, and the cost is more than reasonable. Call it 4 1/2 stars.

Shipping was super fast about a week! I got 6 panel natural wood. I have a Floyd bed and it matches it perfectly! I honestly don’t know how something so simple could be so stunning. One panel came with a tear but they shipped another one so fast and honestly it still looked good with the tear. I did not mind at all.

I am a teacher who is Zooming with my students from home, and this makes for a great backdrop, which easily folds up at night. There are small imperfections—the frame of each panel could be sanded better—but overall it looks really nice. I originally got 4 panels for my Zoom background but found that with 6 panels, I could pull the screen back farther and give myself more room to scoot my chair back and stand up without worrying about knocking over the screen. I've gotten nice compliments from colleagues who have noticed the screen in staff meetings. The screen I got from Legacy Decor was a little higher quality, but I couldn't get the size I wanted. Overall, I'm quite happy with the screen I got from Oriental Furniture.

I am impressed with the beauty and quality. We ordered a three panel and like it so much I'm getting ready to get the six panel version. It is light weight and a strong breeze coming through the window did knock it over but I may have had the panels spread out too much. You can see silhouettes through the panels if there is a light turned on behind it so if you're looking for a room divider to be a total black out then this isn't for you.

Absolutely beautiful! Well made and detailed. Sturdy construction, I use mine a closet door, I put stick on furniture pads/ floor protectors on the bottom somit slides open and close easily in the hardwood. I added a classy sparkle handle (also sold on Amazon), keeps finger prints off the white frame. It's a beautiful price of furniture at an amazing price.

Overall this screen is a case of function over form. It covers a large footprint for low cost, and is quite light and easy to set up. That said, up close it looks and feels low end. Works fine in my basement. Wouldn't consider this for the living room.
