I've owned multiple sun shades, this one is very well designed and built. It is much thicker than the others I've used. It does not let any sun through. The thickness makes it slightly harder to fold and store imo, but well worth the trade off. It also fit my F-150 perfectly. I would buy again and will be looking for a similar one for my wife's SUV.

I was a bit concerned that this was for both the 3 and the Y. Isn't the Model Y windshield larger? I was afraid this would be too big for the 3, but it fits my 3 perfectly! Now I'm a bit worried if it is big enough for the Y. But that's for others to determine. I'm impressed with how sturdy this is. And it simply fits to all the corners. I was using a generic spring shade from Costco before that was "the correct size" but it just didn't fit into the corners and block all the light.I'm impressed with the quality and feel of it. I like that these spring hoops are rectangular instead of the cheaper circles (one of the causes of poor fit of the generics). And it is just as easy to fold up as the circular hoops.My two nit-picks:1. The cut-out for the mirror is too long, letting sunlight and heat in more than necessary. This is perhpas the compromise with making it fit the 3 and the Y? The cut-out could be just 25% of the length it is now, and fit my car better.2. The inside part of the cover is a matte silver. The part to face the sun is shiny silver. It is obvious which should face out, but not IMMEDIATELY obvious without a good look before installing. The back side should be black. Or some other dark color to make it immediately obvious which way goes which way. AND I want to keep the inside as dark as possible for security reasons.

Keeps sun and heat out. Fits well. I don't fold it back up to store it, I just lay it on the backseat so it's always ready for use. Recommend this product. Nice quality and shipped quickly.

The media could not be loaded. Ok this fits perfectly in my 2021 Toyota Rav. It protects great and makes sure my car stays a little bit cooler than normal. My ONLY complaint is how difficult it is to put away and put up. When you remove it this item folds in half and then one has to twist and manipulate it until it turns into a flat circle. So if someone sitting in the front seat while you're putting it away or pulling it out of its storing shape that someone is going to get hit on the head, poked or forced put of the passenger seat. My poor teenage son has been all these things. Other than that it does what the product does what its supposed to. Would I buy it again?? Um I'd probably buy one comparable to but with a better storing method.

The elastic band that keeps the shade from popping open when not in use, broke after the 6th or 7th time I used the shade. The fit is great.

If you take care to order your year, make, model of vehicle, you'll be quite satisfied. Well-made, sturdy, fits windshield tightly. I like the hook and loop closure centered at the rearview mirror. Added perk: cover fits over steering wheel to keep it cool, as well. When folded in half, rotate sunshade so it is "widest" between your hands. Complete the "Figure 8 motion" (as provided in instructions) and it will fold perfectly: first time, every time.
