I’ve given a 5* due to immediate relief in my hand. I also have the knee cuff which is also brilliant. Need to use for a while more to see any permanent result on my hand but doesn’t work if you don’t try.

I thought just another load of rubbish but then thought it’s worth a try maybe £60 out of pocket but if it works then it’s worth the money..I was in a lot of pain with my cartilage the pain was bad so either pay for a operation or give it a go..it worked not as much pain but I do use it regularly I think it’s worth the money

I purchased this to ease pain in my knee following a third knee op and physio recovery. I've purchased a few of these devices over the years and the main fault with them concerns the battery life (this time for the plug in controller). This product was no different, with a proposed 5 hour usage after full charge. Even giving conservative figures this should last 4 hours before requiring recharging, giving 16 uses of each 15 min session with this device. However, I found after 1-3 uses the red light showed indicating it needed recharging. This is disappointing, as I believe the 2-3 times I used the product it was helping, probably more for the heat element rather than the compression, but helping all the same.I contacted the seller FKA Brands, but didn't get a response so sent it back for a refund.You may be lucky and get one with decent battery life, but my experience of these devices so far hasn't been successful. My quest to get a knee massager (with heat and possibly vibration function) that works continues. I would much prefer to get one that plugs in, so no battery to deal with, but so far have not been able to find any.

The battery only lasts about 15 minutes on the high heat setting, and the thigh strap as no extensions making it a loose fit.

The media could not be loaded. It will last 3 cycles before needing a charger which is why it lost a star. It's great product for healing and have to remember this work on people differently depending on what wrong with your knees. It does not cure but help with pain

I think that the unique point of this new Homedics system is that you have one battery and controller which works for multiple wraps. I really like this for two reasons.Firstly it means that your device is now cordless. I have been using Homedics products for years and absolutely love them, but plugging them in does reduce their flexibility. Now I can pop this on and get on with stuff around the house or office whilst still getting the benefit.Secondly it means that the cost should hopefully be reduced, as well as waste. It is very unlikely that I will be using more than one product at a time so why should I need to buy more than one battery?So back to the product itself. It fits comfortably and gives a decent amount of heat and compression. The compression is focussed either side of the knee cap whilst the heat is more directly on the front of the knee. For me I find this to be ideal, and has reduced the mild to moderate pain I get after a long day walking or a long bike ride.Overall then I really like this product and the system which it introduces for me. The massager itself provides effective relief for my symptoms whilst the system it is part of has the potential to save me money and reduce the amount of long term e-waste. Recommended.
