Nearly Natural 4ft. Corn Stalk Dracaena Silk Plant (Real Touch)

Great plant! Looks realistic too! No obvious that it’s an artificial plant at all. Where the leaves connect with the stalk the plastic loops are pretty weak and some of them split and fall off. Just watch out for that. Happy with my purchase overall

My friend, a plant wholesaler who cites Latin species as easily as common names, tells me "oh, you bought a dracaena!""Yes! Will it grow well in this spot?" / "No," he replied, "I'd give it more light."Then I explained it's fake - and he quickly strode over to examine it (realizing he'd just been "played").I ordered this piece to fill a corner in my porch, but it's way too nice for that. It now graces the front parlor. When unwrapping it I kept saying "wow" because the stalks and foliage look so realistic. It took some time to unfold and shape the leaves like a real dracaena from photos (like "building from a kit," I thought - though with less effort). Nicely varied leaf sizes, thickness, textures. Convincing in full sunlight streaming in from a window - and at night, illuminated with a couple of up-facing lights.It arrived with a trivial crack in the shipping pot but stayed intact. It needs a larger pot for visual proportion and stability, anyway.Artificial dracaenas of this size are sold for $100 at a nearby crafts store (whose name rhymes with "knobby knobby") but I prefer this item - and the price is nicer. My favorite fake. Hope this review helps you.

Like others have stated, this is a very natural and realistic looking artificial plant. Once you spend the requisite time futzing with the leaves (i.e., opening them, bending them, arranging them, etc.), it really does look as real as a fake plant can look. I only gave it four stars because, like others have stated, some of the leaves simply break off the stem (despite being very careful and gentle when arranging them. Sadly, there is no way easy way to re-attach them...I simply stuck them into a stem and am hoping for the best, since I don't plan on moving the pot around. Again, like others, I put the whole thing into a bigger pot (and...yes, the pot it came in was cracked!), which I first fitted with styrofoam blocks to give it more height). Then, I topped it all off with some Spanish moss and it does look very nice, albeit a bit "skinny" for me to be TOTALLY crazy about it. The problem is that I have a REAL plant too, so it's difficult to avoid NOT making a comparison. The real one is dying and this one will be taking its place...who has the time and energy and money to keep working at this? This was a good deal and very nice for the money...much better and more reasonable than what I've seen in retail stores.

So far I’m loving this addition to my living room! Great for the price - not the very best but definitely convincing and pretty. I wish I could have real plants but I am just incapable of keeping them alive. The pot is ridiculously small and was chipped when I received it, but I was expecting to replace it so I am not reviewing based on that. It is weighted enough to support the plant but visually disproportionate. Plan to use a bigger pot or basket. A few leaves do come off when you shape them but they are easy to put back on. This is part of what makes them easy to move around and adjust to your liking. It took me only 5 minutes to shape the leaves. Pulling from the tips downward and gently shaping with a hand underneath worked best for me.

PROS: Gorgeous silk plant! It's fairly lush, the leaves are vivid and the entire piece is very natural-looking. I have a very busy life and I've wasted so much money on real plants that would die 6-months later. Unfortunately, my green thumb is grey. It's so much easier and convenient to not have to worry about over-watering, under-watering, root rot, gnats that are attracted to indoor plants, changing soil, fertilizer and not being able to travel for extended periods. This silk plant will give me all the beauty and warm-up my living room, without all the hassle. The price was also very reasonable and it shipped in two days.CONS: It comes in a very small, basic clay pot. I had a large mosaic flower pot at home already and here's what I did to give the plant more height and more drama: I took my large mosaic flower pot and put about a 6-inch tall piece of Styrofoam inside. I then propped the plant up on the Styrofoam (FYI: You do not need to remove it from the clay pot it arrives in) and used additional pieces of Styrofoam to fill in the empty spaces. I then used a bag of plant moss I had from a craft store to cover up the Styrofoam. This gave the plant an additional 6-inches in height and it looked gorgeous in my large mosaic pot! You'd never be able to tell that the plant is much shorter and there's a clay pot sitting on Styrofoam inside.OVERALL: Very satisfied.

I wanted to love it but it arrived broken at the base. I also noticed the leaves fall off easily. I chose to keep to avoid the hassle of returning but I wouldn’t recommend.

I could hardly wait to write my review and express my satisfaction with this plant. After searching stores that "specialize" in artificial plants, I found this to be the most realistic looking and at half the price even considering the sale price at store. I love the feel of it. and the color variation on some leaves making it look even more real. At first I was afraid to start bending the leaves out, but soon realized they are not as fragile as I had read and bend and shape very easily. I'll probably reshape as time goes on until I get it even better then it is now. Also, although small, the pot is heavy and I don't believe it would tip easily. I have mine inside a decorator pot so it is even more sturdy. Packaged well, delivered as scheduled, it probably wont be my last buy from them.

This plant has all the qualities of a normal fake plant. You don’t want to see the underneath of the leaves and the base of the stems are really plastic-y. The trunk scratches easily and will show the white (styrofoam?) it is made of. I got this plant on sale for $40 and I don’t think it’s worth even that much. Unrelated to the quality of the plant- this was shipped with no packaging inside and the pot arrived broken.

Llegó a tiempo, el empaque es un poco reducido para su altura, porque llegaron algunas hojas maltratadas. La maceta es muy pequeña para la planta, es necesario ponerle otra para que se vea mejor y más proporcionada. Sin embargo, es bueno tener presente que es una planta de ornato. Una vez fuera del empaque y acomodadas sus hojas se ve ¡¡hermosa!!

Honestly totally worth it for the money! Yes alil pricey but the plant is absolutely gorgeous..looks so real and great quality! I would recommend to everyone! It's fake so it's forever...get it guys you won't regret it!

Adorna muy bien el lugar, es muy bonita y se ve natural. Lo único que recomiendo es tener paciencia para acomodarla, porque si lo haces con prisa no luce. Ideal para hacer espacios acogedores. Llego mucho antes de lo esperado.

La planta muy bonita, lamentablemente mal empacada, en una caja muy grande pero no lo suficientemente larga, las hojas superiores dobladas y algunas rotas. Llegaron muchas hojas sueltas con la base rota que ya no se sostienen. Finalmente la planta se ve muy real. Gracias
