I needed a smallish extension that wasn't going to be unsightly where i positioned it, so i bought this one & im very happy with it. I like the idea that you can remove the top plug etc but when its connected, it works fine but is not a solid fit. It's a bit wobbly!

The quality of the work is excellent, but I don't know why it is double-edged and the top part can be separated very easily. It is very bad from a safety point of view when it can easily be split into two parts and the upper part is inactive
