My dog was bittting and itching his skin raw .. horrible little red patches. the sprays were not working, so I desperately ordered two different soothing balm products. This one has seemed to give him relief right away, so I haven't even opened the other one or needed anything else. Not only does he stop itching as soon as I put it on, but he doesn't even have a desire to lick it off. It seems to give him relief and soothe the redness right away. Great product!

I rubbed some on my dogs skin and made her coat very shiny and smooth and hope it heal her dry patch but so far very pleased with my purchase!

Rhino Wax makes such nice products -- I have the nose balm and a couple of the paw waxes for our two dogs and they make such a difference + I don't have to worry when the dogs lick off a bunch of the product. So, I was happy to find this skin balm from the same company. One of our pups seems to be developing skin issues and is always scratching. His coat has gotten a bit patchy looking in places, too. This balm is easy to apply, melts into his skin and I can massage it in without it making a greasy mess. He started to feel better within just a few days and now after using this daily for several weeks, his skin and coat are almost back to normal. It is great for both of out dog's paws, too. I use the cloth to wipe off their paws, first. I like the convenient tube that works just like a chapstick. Now that warmer temperatures are here, the balm stick is softer than it was initially, so I find it easier just to get some on my fingers and then apply it where it is needed rather than trying to dab it on from the tube (this keeps the surface or the balm cleaner and I don't end up using too much). The balm has a nice smell, too. I appreciate that this kit comes with two tubes of balm for a very reasonable price. One tube lasts a couple of months, and now that I am only applying every few days or so (instead of twice a day) this kit will probably be enough until next fall. I'm very happy to have found this brand and that the products are made in the USA.

I got this for my 13 year old dachshund. He stinks usually and has dry skin. I thought this balm would help, but it’s okay. I mean he enjoys me massaging it on his paws and skin but it doesn’t keep him moisturized any longer than 10 minutes or less. I would save your money and try to find another product.

My daughter's dog has an irritation to grass & loves being outside in the backyard. But she's always scratching at the rashy areas on her belly where she lays in the grass. She gets medicated, soothing baths regularly & this stuff is a godsend in between! You can tell she gets immediate relief & protection. Great stuff!

This balm works great at relieving dry skin and itchiness for my dog. She is so much happier since I started using this on her dry spots, and they are finally clearing up. I definitely recommend trying it! Great ingredients and it doesn't smell bad. The tube it comes in makes it very easy to apply, just twist it and rub it on. No mess!

Both of my pitbulls suffer with skin allergies, especially on their paws. I have tried plain coconut oil and vaseline and haven't seen much of an improvement. We give them allergy medicine, but it's not always enough. I've used this balm a few times now. Applied to the booper (snoot) and the toes. Obviously I can't personally speak to the flavor, but both of my dogs like it, so I'm happy that it's safe for them if they do lick it off. It's become a bit of a ritual for them to sit down and have a little spaw day. Overall, super happy with these balms.

Wasn’t sure my dogs would like the scent of the Healing Skin Balm. But they sniff at it curiously each time I open the tube and don’t seem to mind. The wax dissolves quickly to a nice smooth oil easy to apply and rub in. Packaging is very nice. I love that the Rhino Wax products are 100% Lick safe and made in the USA.
