Best small form-factor mechanical keyboard available right now.
I'm a writer, so I can get pretty picky when it comes to keyboards. That being said, when I heard that Cherry had started producing ultra low-profile mechanical key-switches, my intrigue was peaked. Because I'm a writer, I like to type quickly, which is why I often find myself at odds with regular mechanical keyboards. Not only because the broad range of travel on mechanical keys slows me down, but also because their half-point actuation leaves me with a sort of insecurity as to how far down I should be pressing the keys.In contrast to this, the Cherry MX ULP switches on my board solve all these problems. Not only does the tactile bump start at the top of the keypress (making the key feel more like an extremely well-tooled scissor-switch), but the actuation is complete 0.8mm into the travel in contrast to the 1.5-2.0 you'd get on a standard mechanical switch. That paired with the 1.8mm of total travel (compared to the 3.5mm to 4.0mm you'd get on a normal switch) makes the keyboard feel nice and snappy, as well as very responsive throughout your typing experience. A++Just as well comes the build quality of the keyboard throughout. The case is CNC aluminum with a foam inner layer that contributes greatly to dampening rattle, and makes the keyboard feel and sound more "full." This keyboard feels like a well-built piece of tech, and despite its diminutive size, it does not at all seem like a hollow piece of plastic. Then there's just how thin the board is. It sits flush against any surface which I find to be comfortable for marathon typing sessions. Though your own mileage may vary. After all, overall comfort varies from person to person because nobody is built exactly the same.It also has 6 well-placed rubber feet at the bottom, which allow you to set it over the top of your mid-sized laptop's existing keyboard (I'm doing that now. It feels much better than the one my laptop shipped with, and being that I have a Surface Laptop Studio, that IS saying something). Just as well, it ships with 2 cables; one usb-a to usb-c which is desktop-long, and 1 usb-c to usb-c which is only a few inches long (meant to keep clear of cable-clutter when using it as a laptop keyboard replacement). Overall, the cables do what they are supposed to, however I do kind of wish they were braided instead of rubber-sleeved. Either way it's really not that big a deal. Then comes the programmability. While the keyboard lacks the companion software many others have, I do not find that a hinderance (at least for my tastes). All of the keys (save for a couple function keys) can be reprogramed using a few simple key-presses (as detailed in the manual the keyboard is shipped with). I myself set the home key to delete, page up to the right-click menu key, and page down to open file explorer, and it all works flawlessly. Then there's the RGB lightning. I'm not much of an RGB fanatic, however I do find the lightning effects on this board to be very well implemented. The lighting is bright and consistent, and there are a good number of fun and shiny modes to set the keyboard to if that's your cup of tea (I just set mine to static white because I'm insufferable). However once again, because the board lacks a companion software, just be aware that it will not offer the same RGB customizability that something from Logitech or Corsair might provide.Lastly, there's no wireless. While others might find that a drawback given how small and portable this thing is, I actually consider it a boon. This is because a battery + wireless module would have made the board thicker (or worse, given it a terrible chin-bar at the top), and would have given the board a built-in date of obsolescence due to the failure-rate of lithium-ion batteries (once the battery popped, the board would pop with it). Thus, because there is no battery, and the board is so well-built, the only thing that should fail on this thing is the keys themselves (which are rated by Cherry for more than 50 million keystrokes each). Longevity is looking great with this device. All in all. I do not regret my purchase, and have even considered purchasing another just to make sure that I have one if this board ever gets discontinued. Great product, albeit pricey. However, in my not so insignificant experience purchasing mechanical keyboards, I believe it to be well worth the price. I've already run a marathon 4 hour typing session on this board, and I still haven't gotten tired of how it feels to type on. It's just a great buy if you have the coin.

My dream low profile gaming keyboard
I've been on the look for a proper low profile gaming keyboard. I became a big fan of low profile keyboards with the logitech MX keys, however it was never a proper gaming keyboard since it lacked a fast connection, and especially ghosting (being able to press down multiple keys at the same time) I got hyped up when cherry released their low profile switches for laptops, and I hoped it would be put into a external keyboard. I know of only one other keyboard that released with these switches, a full size corsair keyboard. My only reason to not pull the trigger on that was the full size, I wanted something smaller, also perhaps a better price since it was ridiculously expensive. I've been scouring amazon looking for a company to release another type keyboard, and finally I found this one. It had few reviews, and is not cheap so I was unsure of a purchase, but everything looked like what I wanted. Wired for a fast reliable connection, ghosting, small compact size, cherry switches, and rgb as a bonus. So far, this keyboard has exceeded my expectations. The cherry switches are satisfying and quality, and this keyboard rocks for gaming with full ghosting. The build is nice, however i must say the casing is aluminum as they claim which gives the keyboard a fantastic sense of rigitity, but the bottom plate is a cheaper plastic which for the price is just... not the best. The rgb is also a very nice touch, it is quite bright, I would compare it to a razer laptop with chroma lighting. Not as blindingly bright as that, but plenty bright and vibrant with a nice modern look to it that it mostly only lights up the see-through legend on the keys. When it comes to software, this is a little of a downside depending on how deep you want it to go. Personally, I wish it supported a software like VIA, but it does work without any software at all which is nice, and you can make macros and such with a combo of different keys on the board.Overall, if you are looking for a low profile mechanical-like gaming keyboard, this is it right now. They absolutely nailed this thing, and it is my dream low profile keyboard. I will say the only downsides is that plastic bottom plate, the price, perhaps the lack of fast 2.4 ghz wireless and or bluetooth, and the fact that it doesn't support a nice keyboard software like VIA. Its a newer listing as well, don't know too much about this company. However, if any of the strengths sound like something you would be into, i would suggest to take advantage of the amazon return policy and try this out.

Wonderful Keyboard
Would be great if it had bluetooth connection, but nevertheless it's a great keyboard. Recommended.

The media could not be loaded.
