Works! And fixed the leak.
After watching several YouTube videos... I decided to try this. Never easy as the video, but I somehow got the old one off and replaced it with this and problem is gone for now.

Liked price, liked that it’s also sold in Lowes & Home Depot. Disliked lower quality & disliked long term reliability because it is mostly plastic & rubber, not metal.
