These lights are perfect. The wiring and the sockets are heavy duty enough to withstand a good wind and rain. The packaging was good and the bulbs came in a very sturdy box. I strung the lights on my tall shrubbery and secured the line using zip ties. The loop over each socket is a huge plus and allows for easy installation. The distance of 3 feet between bulbs gave plenty of light and provided a great look for this backyard project.Installation was so trouble free, I was able to tackle the job in about an hour.All light sockets and light bulbs worked. The light bulbs are retro looking and have a nice golden glow. After I finished the job, a summer storm with high winds and heavy rain came through. My lights all survived the wind and rain. I unplugged the lights at night and plugged in again this morning to make sure there were no issues. I have purchased the remote control switch that I'll be installing and reporting on.I give this purchase of Outdoor String Lights 48 Ft Edison Vintage an A+ and would totally buy it again.

First of all, I want to comment on how fast I received this shipment, this appeared at my door 18 hours after ordering; shipping was that quick. I had just finished telling my wife that I had ordered these and literally 8 hours later we were hanging them up. (My wife was excited and got into it and even placed every bulb into the socket).So as of right now, everything is in working order but during installation, I accidentally "ripped" the rubber on one of the bulbs and I can foresee that this may be a problem in the future.The way I set these up, certainly, we may need another set. But for now this was a quick inexpensive solution quickly

We used a set of these to replace some cheap party lights we had on our patio that broke during a bad windstorm. Originally I thought these were going to be too long and too heavy for what we wanted to do. After I strung them up under our pergola, my wife liked them so much she had me run a second line along the fence on the other side of the yard. Well our yard has four sides, and you can guess how this has ended up. I've since been back for two more sets and they look great.As far as brightness they are not super bright, which is just perfect for what we want. They give a warm glow to the yard but nothing you'd want to do surgery under.The three stars on the easy-to-install is also not a bad thing. They are fairly heavy-duty and take some work to install properly, ensuring the right support and tension to keep them at the height you want. I don't see that as a negative, I just don't want someone thinking they can toss them up with the rest of the party decorations at the last minute.

Lights are a great addition to a dark backyard! Bought these for a party and left them there. Actually ended up buying 3 bundles. Used hooks to hold the lights up on each light, but could of skipped every other one. These are durable, I dragged them across cement and grass and no scuffs or anything. The way the bulbs screw in, it makes them air tight and I can see how they’re weather proof. Lights are a bit on the heavy side but that reminds me of the durability of these lights. The ends of the lights can tie off to wherever needed, but as mentioned I have three sets for of these. Now to the light brightness, the lights it comes with are enough to light up a medium size yard. The pictures do not do enough justice but they light up the area real nice. I would definitely recommend these to anyone trying to light up their backyard without spending a ton of money and with a versatile install options.

I saw similar lights at Costco a while ago. I didn’t purchase them because I have a large backyard and the lights were a bit pricey. I would have needed to buy a few boxes and couldn’t afford them.This summer I found these lights and decided for the price I would try them out. I loved them so much I could 3 more boxes and completed my back yard. They are a great quality and have been running every night since the beginning of summer. They make replacement bulbs but so haven’t had to replace a single bulb yet. They do come with one or two replacement if something was to happen. I will say this, put the strings lights up first and then screw in the bulbs. This way you don’t break the bulbs as they clank around. I highly recommend these lights. They really are great quality and a great price.

Lights are nice looking, add enough light without being too bright, gives nice ambiance. Seem to be made well except for one thing.At each point where there is a light bulb, there is a little built-in loop on the strand meant for a hanging point, whether by screwing into something or hooking onto something. I am finding the loops are not that strong, and when there is a lot of weight and pull on the line, they tend to start stretching and eventually break. I’ve have the lights crash down on our patio once already, breaking lightbulb glass all over and a pain to cleanup enough so I’m not worried about my dog stepping in a piece of glass I might have missed.After rehanging the lights , I noticed other attachment loops in the beginning stages of failing also and preemptively went out to better secure the lights tonight to prevent another loop breaking and lights falling and crashing. I used multiple zip ties to secure the lights to hooks, maybe there is a better way.So check your loops you hang them with and add a second hanging reinforcement.

We just had a stamped concrete patio poured. and these lights are the perfect accent. We have only had the kids and grand kids over because of the stinking pandemic, but the lights add a nice warm aura around the patio. It has rained a few times since I put them up and don't appear to be any the worse. Every part of the string is coated well in a waterproof rubber. Each socket is sunk deep so there is rubber that touches the bulb glass and forms a pretty good seal against the weather. When I finish another pagoda around the patio I intend to purchase at least one other string of these lights. Get out and entertain even if it is only family right now.

Happy with them! Not super bright (didn't want to be under a spot light when they're on) so they are perfect. Good quality so far, takes a day or two for the wire where the bulbs hang to relax and hang straight. I would recommend them. Edit: they are still going strong 2 years later!

Great lights! Very durable. Dropped one or two during installation and they weren’t even cracked. The light is a very nice soft white glow. I’d buy them again for sure!

I already bought 2x sets locally a few years ago...loved them because you can use them all year long since they are NOT Led lights... so during the winter the snow melts off of them, try that with Led lights!? Although they look the same I got from Home.... hum hum you can see the quality isn't as good as the brand name I got before, but we get for what we pay for, right?. But they blend well with what I had, so YES I am satisfied, bulbs look cheap, wondering if they will last as long!? To be continued...
