I saved my hands during canning season! I always cut my fingertips or knuckles when using my mandolin to slice. Not this year! The gloves were perfect and truly did not let me get a scratch of any kind from my mandolin. I ordered xl because I feel I have large hands but I could have been fine with a large. The xl will definitely fit my husband. I washed them by hand with kitchen dish soap and let air dry. No staining and no fit change. I leave them handy in the kitchen so no more fingertips will be cut off.

I use knives and other cutting instruments about as much as any hunter, fisherman, butcher, woodcarver, big game guide or explorer in Alaska. Cutting trails, bivouac’ing, harvesting large animals and marine creatures demands a lot of blade work.As handy as I’ve become over the years I still manage to nick myself from time to time.I started wearing this type of glove after a bad cut. They’ve prevented a few cuts since and saved some skin went I dumped a bike. I just don’t go without them anymore. I’m getting clumsier or bolder in my latter years so I’ve upgraded to these particular gloves with the most cut resistance. They are a good fit for my large hands and perform as designed.

I just used these gloves again yesterday. It made quick work grating ginger and got the most possible product with no worries about cuts or abrasion. It gets 4 stars due to the gloves being a very tight fit for "normally sized" male hands.

Gloves fit well and have some stretch for dexterity.

I used this for gardening where some brushes gave thorns. It helps not to get stabbed with these sharp thorns!

I like the gloves. However, don't rely on the size measurements provided on Amazon. I had to return my first pair and get a size larger.

I also used them when I cut some small grape tomatoes. I had no fear of slicing my fingers when holding the tomato and slicing in toward my palm. I must have cut a thousand small tomatoes over two days time. Worked perfectly.I would say to buy a size bigger than what you believe your hand size to be. Mine were tight until they got wet from vegetable juice and then they began fitting my hand better. But I also bought another size up and it fit perfectly.Just wash with dish soap, rinse very well and dry in the sun.Love these gloves!
