Softest rug ever!
The rug looks like the photo and it is sooooo soft! It isn’t very thick, but that hasn’t been a problem. It is very light, so you have to vacuum on a lower setting. I absolutely love this rug!

Soft like flannel
This would probably be good for an area where babies were crawling, but the carpet feels like flannel and not suited for my needs. Don’t know how well it would hold up for use in front of our recliners.

It's smaller than advertised, 1-2" short all around
If you are not using a rug pad, you should be fine...but this is not a true 6'x9' rug. I bought another to make sure, and it was short as well.The colors are much darker in person.It's soft and a nice play surface for kids.
