Yakuza 6: The Song of Life (PS4)

This game series has thrived under Sega since it first debuted and did well in 2008 with release of yakuza 3 in the west and began to do really well as a series that saw the release of 4 and 5 in the west followed by 0 and KIWAMI 1 a 2 remakes then we got yakuza 6 song of life which was by far the most impressive and interesting release to date, the graphics are incredibly good and still hold out well today and was the basis for all new yakuza releases. Facial animations and character animations are impressive and again still hold well today.The story was gripping with alot of twist and turns and KIRYU was his old self with fist combat and the pure fury of KIRYUs attacks you can feel on the enemies he fights in the game. It's much like it's earlier games with the leveling and exploring a region of Japan but this one is the last of the KIRYU story at this point in time. It was a great ending to a great character and really is one of the best yakuza games in the series. But to my surprise KIRYU is back in Yakuza gaiden in November and it will see return of beloved character of the franchise. This collectors edtion is amazing as you get your two glasses with Yakuza dragon tattoo logo which is KIRYUs back design of tattoo. You get a couple of whisky blocks, some coasters aswell, all seem like good build quality and an art book with art from beloved yakuza fans all round the world. Excellent series of games and this is a brilliant collection for any die hard yakuza fan out there

Yakuza 6 is the final game in the excellent series of Yakuza games, it follows Kazuma Kiryu as he tries to work out the truth of what happened to his adopted daughter ... as he finds that she was put in a coma after a hit and run and that she has had a baby, this story in classic Yakuza fashion results in Kazuma finding ties to Yakuza families and results in multiple rivalries and story twists and turns.The gameplay is better than ever, with fighting being as over the top as before and plenty new ways to beat up baddies. There was a slight frustration with trying to do attacks while holding something that resulted in the same special move, but that was fine, it still helped me defeat them, just not how I intended.There is plenty to do in the two gorgeous and realistic open world fake japanese cities you can explore, from Arcade games to Mahjong to Darts to Talking to strippers online and much more, my favourite is the Deep Sea Fishing mini game, which works as an on rails shooter, hitting all sorts of fish and predators with the harpoon.The baseball game is abit underwhelming, its more of a baseball manager than a baseball playing game, but the home run challenge is a great baseball type mini game.There are some classic Yakuza mini games that are not here (like the toy grabber), but this game definetly has more content than many of its predescessors, including the new huge side game, Clan Wars, where you have your own gang and you direct them how to fight and take down rival gangs.A huge story mode, lots of side quests, lots of mini games and much more, this game has a huge amount of content. Its story is massively compelling from start to finish and has an ending that will shock and surprise, but it also ties the Yakuza story up fantastically.Like the games before it, Yakuza 6 is another classic and is one of the all time best open world action games.

Yakuza 6: The song of life after hours premium edition is definitely one of the best Yakuza games I have ever played. The game is very emotional and and a fitting conclusion for main protagonist, Kazuma Kiryu. The premium edition is a worthy piece for any yakuza enthusiast. The art book is made with such loving care and the shot glasses are second to none, packaged in a collective box worthy of the dragon of Dojima himself, Kazuma Kiryu. I want to thank Sega, the fans and Amazon for making something this beautiful for me to enjoy.

Amazing game with so many twists & great things to keep you occupied as in all Yakuza games graphics are improved too even though Yakuza games normally have great graphics,if you have not played a Yakuza game I recommend all of them as they are a totally awesome alternative to GTA or saints row series although it's maybe closer in comparison to some parts of sleeping dogs but Yakuza games stand alone as classics so in my opinion it's worth every penny & the art book included was also top quality so 5 stars from me!

I really think Sega have produced the best collectors edition yet. I don't just want an art book and a figure of some enemy I don't care about. I want something practical and that I can enjoy again and again, and this hits the mark!It does state that the glasses are dishwasher safe but personally, I wouldn't risk it and make sure you hand wash with the a soft (or soft side of) a sponge.Great work Sega. Can't wait to see what you have in mind for Yakuza 7/Like a Dragon!

Absolutely outstanding quality box, this is how you do fan service with a premium edition, the glasses are of high quality (it would give Marge Dursley‘s firm grip a run for her money)The game game Wrapped with the same wrap you get with all new games. No problems thereThe coasters are of a good quality And I’ve yet to use the whiskey stones.The art book is so awesome to go through, very inspiring to look at!Overall no complaints with anything, quick delivery with prime.

well worth the extra.the glasses are very well made and the tattoo engraving is clear and well done. the glasses come with 2 coasters and 2 reusable ice cubes.the box is just the right size to display without being too large.the art book is very detailed and a larger version of the standard editions one.the game is awesome, yes there's a couple of faults ( certain character seems to be awol and WTF thought that was a good last boss!) but great edition for any true fan.
