RIO Beach Hi-Boy 17" Extended Seat Height Folding Beach Chair with Sun Shade Canopy Cover

Nice chair for pool, but too heavy for an older person to carry to the beach. Sturdy and very comfortable!

I bought two of these chairs for the beach. I need a "high" beach chair, and I liked the sunshade. I brought one of them to my grandson's baseball game the day before, and thank goodness I did! It was horribly uncomfortable! There is a metal bar that hits under the back of your legs by your knees that is so hard and uncomfortable that it cut off my circulation at the ball game! The pitch of the chair is so uncomfortable that I had to rest my feet on my purse, to avoid the bar cutting off more circulation. The sunshade offers no protection at all as it barely covers you! I had to buy a different beach chair at the beach, and gave these to my nephew. They weren't cheap, and look nice, but a terrible chair!

Good chair but top broke... out of no where when trying to use it... which was wholePoint of buying it for my elderly mother who needs a higher chair and the shade to take a break fromThe sun.

The chair is great for the beach. Adjustable awning works well. The only downside is that I wish it was easier to carry. The over the shoulder strap is a little awkward.

The bar across the front of the chair makes it very uncomfortable - it cuts into your thighs. The canopy broke the first time I used the chair. The chair is very lightweight which is nice for carrying out to the beach, but the metal just twisted and broke when moving the canopy into position.

This chair sits higher off the ground than the usual beach chair so it’s perfect for someone with knee issues. So far it’s serviceable and good value.We love the awning for reading and keeping the hot sun off our faces.

BOUGHT TWO CHAIRS A MONTH AGO. SINCE CORNAVIRUS AND SOCIAL DISTANCING HAS BEEN IN EFFECT FIRST TIME USING WAS TODAY. AS SOON AS I SAT DOWN IN IT,A GUST OF WIND CAME ALONG AND RIPPED THE TOP COMPLETELY OFF. THE SECOND CHAIR THE WIND BENT THE TOP BUT DID NOT SNAP THE METAL IN TWO. THIS SEEMS LIKE A SEVERE DESIGN FLAW AS BOTH OF MY CHAIRS DESTROYED IN FIRST 10 MINUTES OF USE . WOULD LIKE TO RETURN FOR REFUND BUT SINCE I COULD NOT USE RIGHT AWAY BECAUSE OF THE CORNAVIRUS, I AM STUCK WITH 2 PIECES OF JUNK. I WAS RECOMMENDED BY A FRIEND TO BUY "RIO BEACH" CHAIRS BECAUSE THEY MADE A HIGH QUALITY CHAIR. DON'T THINK I WILL BE RECOMMENDING RIO TO ANYBODY ESPECIALLY SINCE THEY WILL NOT TAKE PRODUCT BACK AFTER FIRST USE.
