On first impression, this ring light is far superior than my old one. The tripod base is solid, and easily packs away into the bottom of the carry bag.The dials make adjustments easy, and the ring light itself is very thin. The lowest brightness is more than adequate on a regular day, and in total it takes less than 3 minutes to set up.

This ring light has been an essential tool for my video and photo projects. Its slim profile is perfect for tight spaces and on-the-go setups. The Bluetooth remote and mobile app control make adjusting settings a breeze. The light quality is excellent, providing a flattering glow and enhancing facial features. One thing I really like about this brand is that they seem to listen to feedback and improve on their products constantly. This set is a nice one that includes and 18" light, a stand and a carry case as well as some other attachments. The light is large and even. 45W isn't the most powerful, but I think it does the job most of the times for video. I tried taking a selfie with this in front of the window with the rising sun behind me and it was able to provide enough light on my face that the phone could properly expose the background and my face was visible as well. The resulting ring catchlight is up to personal preference, some love it some don't. The stand that comes with it folds up to a compact size. I really like this stand. I own a few neewer stands the cheap ones, and they are not very good. This one is a marked improvement over those. Thicker coloumn, better release mechanism and all together sturdier desing. It's more than enough for this light, which should be used indoors only as there is no battery connection on it. There is a phone clamp and small ball head included both of which can slide in the middle of the light via a cold shoe mount. I wouldn't trust the ball head with anything bigger than a compact camera though, it doesn't seem very durable. There is also a little wireless trigger that can connect to your phone via bluetooth. I really like that all of this can be stashed away in the carry case that has got a shoulder strap as well. Setup takes a good 2 minutes, once you know how it's done. The light can connect to your phone via the app, but I don't see too much use in this. You can use the phone to set the light intensity and temperature and update the firmware wirelessly, and that's it. The knobs on the light are so nice though that I would just stick to those and use them. By the way, minimum brightness is excellent, if you only need a little bit of a fill light this light will do a great job at that without overpowering the ambient light. I think it's a very nice set at a good price but everyone has different needs and expectations so trying this light is highly recommended to the buyer to see if it fits their needs.

This ring light is absolutely brilliant. My main issue with previous ring lights was that the illumination was occasionally spotty due to the inconsistent quality of the product. This one on the other hand provides great even lighting throughout, with a host of warmth and brightness settings up to a very high standard. All the parts feel sturdy, and the stand is easy to set up and use. The kit isn't particularly lightweight, but it's portable, which I really appreciated. The results are shockingly good considering the size and the fact that it's just a ring light at the end of the day - but a great one at that.

This is a great setup - very large box arrives, usually Amazon items arrive smaller than I expect but this was the opposite. Very well made and solid setup. The tripod supports the light no matter the height and the phone holder in the middle is very stable. Colour temperature is easily adjustable to a range of hues. Excellent for TikTok or any social media.Neewer is becoming one of the brands I have started to follow for this type of product. Recommended!

Oh my, I'm so impressed with this ring light. I've had a ring light in the past and the quality didn't come close to this one. This is a large piece of equipment and I would certainly class this as a professional set-up. It comes packaged perfectly so there's no danger of it getting damaged in transit. You get a padded bag to store it in that makes transportation a breeze.Setting it up was simple and I didn't need to refer to the instructions once. Everything feels top-quality and there is nothing flimsy about the tripod whatsoever. The phone holder grips your phone perfectly and you can achieve whatever angles you wish.The light has many different levels, the left dial controls the brightness levels and the right one allows you to change the tone/warmth of the light. It offers so much that you should be able to find the right ambience to capture the perfect photo or video. I have yet to download and use the app on this but so far I have just been using it manually. The shutter is fab too as it allows you to get your perfect angle before clicking to take the snap.As I said in my title, I absolutely love this ring light and would not hesitate to recommend this. If you create any digital content, this will not disappoint. Perfect!

This lovely light is ideal for creating videos but also makes a great additional light for home studio shots. I found it gave a nice soft light for fill-in and could easily be modified while shooting. I'm not going to use it with a phone, but I still found it easy to set up and place to the side or in front of my lens without it becoming an issue.
