As an invention, this belt is up there with the wheel. Well, maybe a slight exaggeration, but not much. I'm so glad I did something I almost never do - get intrigued by a sponsored ad. I could never find the ideal hole to put my belt buckle through, even if I drilled a few myself, but this is like having a near-infinite number of holes, coupled with the fact that you can change the belt's tightness almost inperceptibly, rather than having to go through motions that look as if you're about to take your trousers off. It looks good, too! And as for value for money - well, the price I paid (it might have been a short-term promotional one, mind) was almost ridiculously reasonable. Yup, this item is a real belter!

This is the first ratchet type belt I have worn. I like it. Does its job well. Looks good - easily adjustable. Looks robust but only had it for a few month so cannot offer views on wear. Will the ratchet remain as effective I don’t know. A little more expensive than the usual buckle belt but worth a try..

Just one thing to mention it’s not leather but everything else is great.

I saw a YouTube video recommendation for a more expensive version of this, and of course you can get something very similar here on Amazon, still with decent quality, but for much better value for money.The buckle attaches easily, and you can trim some off if there's too much excess. It looks great with suit trousers, and the ratchet system means it's easy to adjust and you get a perfect fit every time.
