Large Bamboo Serving Tray – Sturdy Build but Not All Wood (Base Is Laminate)
This serving tray arrived in a simple cardboard box and was wrapped in a bubble wrap bag to protect it during transit. The board measures 42cm x 32cm with a high outer edge of 5cm. It is a good size to serve a meal on (although it is worth checking the diameter of your plates) and is ideal for carrying a teapot with mugs on too. There is a smaller version of this serving tray available but it isn’t suitable for using with dinner plates as it will be too small.The board has a laminate base (which I wasn’t expecting but does make it easier to clean) and a bamboo edge which is free of any splinters or rough edges. It also has cut out handles which makes it easy to carry. I did expect from the images and title for the entire board to made out of wood so I do think the listing is a bit misleading unless you read the main description, but it is still a perfectly functional serving board and the base is easy to wipe down in case of any spillages.The tray is useful for transporting food (which is our intended use) but also could be used as a base for decorative objects too. Priced at £19.99 at the time of ordering, this does seem a little expensive for a single tray considering it isn’t all wood, but it does the job well and feels very sturdy.

nice light weight bamboo tray but a bit expensive
Comes in a plain cardboard box sealed in plastic wrap.This is a 1 foot by 1.5 foot tray with a rim and raised handles on the side.Its big enough for a large dinner plate and other items and its nice and light due to beingmade of bamboo.The price however is quite high at £19.99 for just a single tray when you can get several for around the same money and the same size for half the cost.
