This has to be one of my favorite purchases! It is so beautiful when lit, and when it's not, it goes so well with the earthy tones of my living room. Love the size and that it can release aroma for up to 5 hours. For me, it's worth more than its price.

I feel a little bad about taking a point off on this one. The only issue is the instructions. Putting the diffuser together was a cinch, but what do the buttons on the remote mean? Most of them are obvious, but a few have me baffled.On to the diffuser itself... It's great. It puts out a strong stream of vapor and does a lovely job of spreading scent through a room. It also adds a little humidity to the room. It's not the same as a standard humidifier, but it helps. The room I use it in is medium to small so I can't speak to its ability to spread scent in larger rooms. It is also really beautiful with the light on. I love the way it cycles through colors, but I also like that I can easily pick one color and leave that on. There were other shapes in the same line I liked better, but I knew none of them would last a week in my house. I have a cat and a am a clutz. The squat shape on this one means it is hard to knock over so I hope it will be with me for a long time!Edit: I have had this for almost six weeks now, and it is still going strong. Everything works great...except. I don't know if the auto shut-off work because the water has never gotten low enough, but the unit turns itself on on a regular basis. At first, I thought my cat was stepping on the remote in the night, but I eliminated that possibility (by putting the remote where he could not get it - not by doing anything to my cat). Be forewarned. If you want to make sure the diffuser is off and will stay off, you need to unplug it. I am not reducing any stars because I really only wanted to remove half a star for a confusing remote. I am still very happy with the diffuser but I thought potential buyers might want to know about the random "auto-on" feature.

works great, beautiful lighting and easy to use just fill the to water line, add your desired fragrance and your house will spell beautiful. really works well.

The great thing about this diffuser is that even with it turned off, it still looks great sitting on a table. I have the Desert Giant with Remote and the earthtone design of the diffuser fits in quite well with my decor. What surprised me about this diffuser is the incredibly long run time that I was able to get using the intermittent setting. I was able to get somewhere over 24hrs of run time before it automatically shut-off. The diffuser does put out a good stream of vapor that quickly diffuses throughout the room. When using the light function, it is truly amazing how well the glass dome lights up. There are no dead spots, and the light is actually quite bright. While all of the colors that you can choose from might not actually aesthetically fit in with your decor, the palette is large enough that you will most likely find at least a couple colors that you really enjoy. If you get the remote feature, you can directly select the color you want and the diffuser setting. If you don't have the remote, you can still cycle through these settings with the controls on the front of the unit. The diffuser is quite easy to fill and add your scented oils. Overall, this is a great looking functional piece of decor that will look great in your home.
