Good acoustic tiles that are packed right
There tiles are pretty typical of prosumer-grade acoustic foam. They come with adhesive backing and they do a reasonable job of reducing echo and reflection giving you higher quality audio recordings. Whether you are recording music or doing a podcast/YouTube channel, these look sharp and they do the job. If you are looking to soundproof a room, keep looking because that is *not* what these are designed to do. You'll want to look at rockwool and other materials for soundproofing. When you buy this type of tiles, they are often vacuum packed and you need to let them "breath" to regain the original shape. This process can take an hour or a couple of days depending on the type of foam and how smashed they became in the vacuuming process. I've run across several sets that would not reform on their own and I've had to spend time pulling and stretching the pyramids to get them into the correct shape ... NOT SO with these tiles. THESE tiles arrived partially vacuum packed (enough to reduce box size/shipping cost but not so much as to crush them. They ballooned into their proper shape within a minute of removing them from their packaging and required no additional effort on my part.Anyway, I generally rate foam acoustic tiles around 4-stars because there are better types of acoustic tiles to be found - but the fact that these were also packed so well, I'm bumping this particular set to 5-stars.

For this price you simply can't go wrong with these! Make sure to get enough!
100/100This is the kind of product that requires reasonable expectations. Why do I say that? Well . . . these panels are not high dollar pro acoustic foam panels . . . their performance is not at that level either. BUT . . . they don't COST what those pro acoustic foam panels cost and they do a perfectly accepable job in a home studio environment. With some careful planning, they'd even serve in a pro-sumer studio situation. They are nice tiles, but a bit "soft" and "squishy" compared to "real" acoustic foam. They also have a full sheet of adhesive on each tile. Most pro acoustic tiles do not and have to be applied with more effort. These are really just peel and stick! As they are foam, be careful in placement because if you try to pull one up, the foam may rip. Measure twice, cut once, and carefully apply. ;o)Personally, I have these and two other patterns that are the same size and I am going to mix and alternate them in a pattern on a really "hard" reverby wall in my studio at home. They look really good and the alternating foam patterns will further break the sound waves.Ultimately, is it worth the price? Absolutely!

Hard to know how much sound is actually reduced.
It is very easy to apply, but I have my doubts that the light sticky adhesive on the back will act; u last very long - or survive a few temperature cycles. I reinforced mine with some hot glue.I wish I had some test equipment to really know the effectiveness of this. It looks like acoustic material is supposed to look, but it also feels like your average simple foam. So, is it enough to be effective, reduce reflections, and materially reduce sound? I honestly can't tell without actual quantitative measurements.

Excellent adhesion, well-made foam
As a musician with a small home studio set-up, these are not the first sound proof panels I've owned, but these are better than the ones I have. The foam is well-made, thick, and suitable to the purpose, and the adhesive is excellent. In fact, I decided to test it by removing small cuts of the backing from the corners of five of the panels, exposing no more than 5% of the adhesive. I used that small amount to apply the panels to a long sheet of cardboard. As I moved and carried the cardboard sheet around, all five of the panels stuck. That surprised me, honestly.I also reviewed Ekkogo foam monitor pads and had similar praise for the quality. It appears to me that Ekkogo is good company to go to for your audio needs.

Ekkogo panels turned out to be a game-changer for me
Ekkogo panels turned out to be a game-changer for me. Not only did they dramatically improve sound quality by reducing background noise and echo, but their easy peel-and-stick application meant I could set them up myself without any fuss. The sleek pyramid design also adds a professional look to my setup. Highly recommend these for anyone looking to upgrade their sound without breaking the bank.

Crazy packaging but worked well.
The vacuum packaging is a bit abusive but the foam panels recovered nicely and all worked well! The adhesive is a little weak and some was spilled on the front of one of the panels but otherwise worked just fine. I like the foam pyramids design for sound deadening and it looks good too. Professional, seems well and looks and works great. Glad I got them.
