Used two of the jars to ferment some vegetables in water and when I came to use the contents the inside rim of both jars was rusty. I was too late to return them. Won't be buying again!

Perfect for making overnight oats in.

I like these jars. The glass is strong and well made. The metal lids screw on properly so you get an air-tight seal. And the squared-off sides mean you can stack several together on the shelf without wasting any space. And best of all, no plastic involved. A product made of sustainable materials that works. Job done.

The glass is thick and strong, ideal for home preserving as they can be reused again and again. The lids provide an airtight seal so I have no fear that my efforts to make applesauce will be in vain. These should keep the sauce fresh for a couple of years if stored in a cool cupboard. I do like these jars, the squared sides enable several jars to be stored without wasting space. For the price of £10.22, at the time of this review, they are fair value. 5 stars.

These jars arrived perfectly packaged in a sturdy brown thick cardboard box, divided into 4 internally, separated by card to prevent the jars from bashing together in transit. They were also protected by bubble wrap, so they arrived in perfect condition.The jars have a round bottom and top but squared off sides which I like, making them easier to sit side by side in the cupboard. The screw-top lids are silver coloured metal with a seal on the inside which tighten well.I love to make mincemeat at Christmas time for gifting and these jars will be perfect. They have a good surface for sticking a label onto the front, then they just need a ribbon and fabric cover on the top to make them look festive! I think they are perfect for a variety of uses, not just jam-making, I am very pleased with them.
