Thermador Taste of America The Great American Oven Cookbook

Absolutely needed IF you have a STEAM OVEN.

Not well written, recipes ae unremarkable. No instructions for the Thermador oven, which is complicated to use.

I had second thoughts about this book right after I bought it, realizing that it was an appliance book. But these recipes are really good. I made the Black Walnut bars and they were great, and very easy to make. My husband loves them. I can't wait to try more of the recipes as I am sure they will be equally delicious.

I've only made two recipes, the crab gratin, and the cheesecake. Both were delicious!

The meatloaf sandwich is very good. I added a little more garlic and some ketchup and mustard to the recipe. The Sweet Rose Cake is fantastic if I must say so myself ( :-D It is my recipe!!!). However 3/4 cup of the jam wil not be enough for the cake if you make it 4 layers as shown in the picture.
