Such a great little product I never knew we needed!My husband requested this item and set it up in our loo, choosing the colour red because he said it would not kill our night vision.I have to say I was hugely sceptical at 1st, because:A) hygiene- isn't it a bit gross having a light going into the toilet pan? Will it be a pain to clean?B) isn't this solving a problem that doesn't need to be fixed? We have a bathroom light don't we...Well! Firstly, my husband told me it's not that easy to aim straight in the darkness of the night, plus, turning on the big light is just too bright and awful for the eyeballs at 3 in the morning. Who knew the challenges of being a man??So he ordered it.Setting it up was super easy, you do need batteries, but they are lasting ages so far.I have cleaned the toilet several times since it's installation - no problems at all. Just pop it off, give it a wipe.Colour wise you can have it going through the rainbow slowly (my fave) or you can select one constant colour.My husband chose red.While slightly disturbing, it DOES prevent damage to one's night vision so useful for any unexpected, nighttime combat...All jokes aside, this is a great little unit which only comes on if it's dark and it detects your movement and then stays on for about half a minute. Easy to set-up, no problems with fit, hugs the rim fine and easy to clean.Hugely recommended.

Tried new batteries still lights not strong enough.hence I'm asking for refund .

Arrived before date. Seems to work ok. Light could stay on a little longer though.

I am very disappointed with this item. I previously had another toilet bowl light which eventually stopped working properly after a while so I thought I would try a different brand, however, I am not happy with it at all. After nearly 2 months it has stopped working properly and doesn't come on all the time and when it does it sticks on 1 colour and only stays on for a few seconds. I thought it was the batteries so I changed them but it hasn't made a difference! It also doesn't fit the toilet bowl properly & just hangs!

This works really well.The sensor is good and you can see the lights changing under the seat as you go past.The colours are not harsh, but give a nice glow instead.It takes AAA batteries and you just hook it over the toilet bowl with the big sensor part on the outside, facing the direction you come in, so the sensor picks up movement.I've got mine over to the side and it picks up every movement and starts colour changing.I thought it would annoy me seeing the sensor outside the toilet bowl but I don't even notice it..It's a fun little gadget to brighten up the bathroom that's inexpensive.

I got this item on a whim and I'm so glad I did it's fantastic!My husband frequently gets up in the night to use the toilet and doesn't want to disturb my sleep so doesn't put any lights on so this toilet light has been amazing!It is super easy to install, it takes 3 X AAA batteries and it clips on to your toilet in a similar way to a caged toilet freshener/bowl cleaner. The clip has the light on the end which goes onto the rim of your toilet with the light side in the bowl of your toilet and the battery pack that has the motion/light sensor goes on the outside of the toilet bowl. It is best to position it so that the sensor is facing the bathroom door so that the light comes on when someone enters the room, illuminating their way.The toilet light will only come on if it is dark enough and if it detects motions, it will go off after 30 seconds if it detects no further movement and doesn't come on if its daylight or the bathroom light is o.You can choose what colour the light is, or leave it on its default setting where it cycles through all the colour options, I decided to set my on blue which was easy to do as it only has one button on it.The light part that sits inside the toilet bowl is water resistant but is not designed to be fully immersed in water and the instructions state to clean the device using a damp cloth.

For a couple of weeks this was fine, but put then the light dimmed and stopped working altogether even after putting in 3 sets of new batteries.Cheap but waste of money, would prefer to pay more for longer use.Not recommended.
