I love items that serve several purposes while still retaining their main function! This clever foot stool is nicely upholstered in a black velvet-like material which is easy to brush to clean. I have used it as an extra little table to hold snacks, drinks, books, magazines, etc. It also has a removable lid, under which is a wood-lined storage area for whatever you want, such as a place to store remotes, batteries, small toys, or just stash some clutter! The stool is sturdy enough to hold up to at least 250 lbs, and it is extremely easy to screw on the four wooden legs, which is all the assembly it needs. You can tell how well made it is by its heft when moving it...for me, it requires two-hands! The height of it is perfect for me to rest my feet on. i am short (5'2") so I didn't want a taller one. It's a convenient size, plenty of room for two feet, but it doesn't stick out awkwardly into the room. I compared several other foot stools and am so happy I chose this one! It gives a real bang for your buck!

This is a very modern, attractive, sturdy and functional ottoman. Unfortunately it is a bit too small for my needs. It is lightweight so you can carry it from room to room, the price is great, it arrived on time and in perfect condition.

Received & assembled easily last night and just love it. I'm in a tiny apartment so not much room but needed a footstool. This one is great because it's got a small storage area and the top flips over to a sturdy wooden surface that can serve as a writing surface, a place to put a snack, etc. Since I have two small swivel chairs, am thinking of getting a second one of these because of its small size and usefulness.
