I bought this book for my 10 yr old who has a pen pal in India. I was looking for something that would catch his interest and give him a good, basic overview. This book fit the bill. I will look for other books in the series.

Very opinionated view of IndiaLanguage used is below parCalls killer of Gandhi a terrorist. Section on religions has photos of Hindu gods only, which is not a problem but shows bias towards other religions.It looks like the author has made this book to earn hush money. Doesn’t seem to have put any love and hard work in to it at allI will not read this book to a child at any cost and won’t recommend it to others as well
