I absolutely adore the Ambition Soldier Max! It's equipped with a versatile 4-stroke engine and the batteries last a long time. A great feature is being able to input my rate so that my clients know exactly what they're paying for during their tattoo session. I also love that you can use disposable grips with this machine, making everything more hygienic. One major change I've noticed from the original Ambition Soldier is that you can no longer swap out the cam for a different size. However, the Max has a force start feature that allows you to use larger mags, which is a game changer.

I’ve had this machine a little over a week and have done a few pieces with it. Works very well! I’m a professional artist working in a studio and I can not complain about this machine at all. Hold up to the bigger names brands out there. Remind me a lot of the bishop liner. But this is more versatile than the bishop liner. This will lay pretty solid lines AND can do dark shading and stipple shading very good. I know it packs in colors well also. I wouldn’t use this machine for my lighter tones because it hits too hard.Ambition if you guys are reading this I’ll be getting the ambition torped kit that comes with 2 machines soon so if you guys can give me a discount I’ll be appreciative 😅 that thing is expensive

I’ve been using the Soldier Max since it was released and has become my go to work horse machine for the majority of my tattooing. It lines, packs color and shades exceptionally well. Battery life lasts through a 6 hour session without coming close to running out. The Ambition disposable grips make this a winner in my opinion.

My favorite so tattoo machines so far. I’ve bought expensive “pro” models and they just ain’t it. It could break tomorrow and I’d just order the same one

Edit: After contacting Ambition's customer service directly, they agreed to send a new machine in two weeks. Hopefully the one we got was just a dud and this one runs as it should 🤞Machine arrived on 3/3 and yesterday 4/17 it just stopped working. Checked connections, fully charged battery and still nothing. Of course its now outside of return window so buyer beware🤷🏼‍♀️

Been using the soldier for 2 1/2 years saw they had the soldier max and I wasn’t disappointed. Feels solid it really has a nice punch/hit. You can literally do whatever style with this machine. Another great machine at an affordable price from ambition!
