Haden Red Stand Out Jersey Kettle - Not a Shy Retiring Type at All
I am so pleased with this kettle not too heavy to use even with having OA in hands. The lid is easy to take off but can also just fill using the spout. A really nice stylish temperature dial on the front of it so it makes this kettle look so much different than a lot of others on the market at the moment. The red coloring so nice and cheery and goes with my coffee machine. The noise level on this is a heck of a lot quieter than lots of others we’ve had. The build of it feels well made and it ticks every box for me with it being light enough but feels sturdy and level when on its base.A water level gauge at the side and the base can be placed anywhere as it rotates so making it easier for where you want to place it.It is a rapid boil and yes that temperature dial does work and not just a novelty on the kettle. What surprised me more than anything was this kettle looks good on the web and in the actual flesh so to speak looks good too.A two year warranty and an extra water filter comes with it. I did order this without asking anyone else in family what they thought about it, held my breath and relief they all love it. This is a stand out look at me sort of kettle not a shy retiring one at all.Forgot to say which I think is so important too that this kettle does not drip or leak from anywhere and the lid a good fit. One of the best electric kettles I’ve had I’ll go as far as saying too. Will update with any niggles or issues as not the least expensive kettle out there but I’m so pleased with it.Update 13 September and this kettle is being used daily quite a few times and all seems well with it.

Striking colour kettle in stylish original design
This is a great kettle - can fill up via the spout, ergonomic handle, not too heavy, not too loud and has a useful temperature dial for taking off the boil early for green teas or hot chocolates. The cable/cord can be wound around the base to hide it but I haven't needed to do that as it's not that long of a cable (from leaving the base to the plug, it's about 72cm/28" long).I thought with the fat bottom shape, I would need to put loads of water in and it would take a while to boil but it doesn't at all. It's much much quicker than my last kettle (Russell Hobbs) - it ranges between 1m20s for quickest boil with minimum amount of water (2 cups/600ml) and 3 mins for maximum 1.5l full kettle. It's made of stainless steel which was important to me as a lot of kettle bodies now are made of plastic. It does have some 'plastic' bits on the inside around the water level indicator, temperature gauge and limescale filter but it hasn't tainted the taste of the water. I boiled the kettle a few times before using it for tea and it was absolutely fine. It's BPA free. It comes with a spare limescale filter for the spout.I now see some reviews say the colour peels off or the on/off switch becomes faulty after a few months so I hope that doesn't happen.

Style over substance - disappointing.
Great looking kettle and a fantastic red colour. However ... the first one arrived faulty. The on/off switch was stuck down. I returned it, but assumed this was a blip, and ordered an identical replacement. Most of the time, it worked, but sometimes it would switch itself off whilst boiling - and sometimes, it would repeatedly do this - very annoying!. And now, here we are, less than a year later, and the on/off switch on the replacement kettle has completely broken. This time, it won't turn on unless I hold the switch down all the time. I think it's a design fault. I've just replaced again, but this time with another brand. It's very disappointing, because it's not cheap. I would not recommend this product.

Lovely looking matching red kettle & toaster but ….
I’ve had the kettle and toaster since last December. As you would expect they are used every day. Unfortunately, the red paint on the kettle is starting to show ‘bubble marks’ which I am unable to wipe off! They look like water marks but do not come off when the kettle is wiped. I’ve tried just wiping when hot and when cold, I’ve tried wiping with just hot water, with washing up water and as a final try, I used watered down vinegar but to no avail. The red toaster is okay (only for morning breakfast) but then it is not used as often as the kettle?Has anyone else had this problem?

Brilliant kettle!
I don't normally review products but I have to leave a good review for this one!Lovely, well designed, stylish looking kettle. Bought the putty colour and it's a really lovely taupe shade. Better than it looks in advert. Normal sort of boil speed and not noisy. My main joy is the pour. It pours wonderfully, fast, clean, no dripping. Handle is comfortable. Honestly can't fault it. I've been through a few kettles over the years but this is the best so far by a mile.

Gorgeous
Perfect in my new kitchen, super sleek. A bit pricey but worth it. I was a bit apprehensive about a kettle that had a seperate spout attached because all I've had so far have leaked, but no sign with this so far, 2 months in. Not noticeably noisy, quick boil. Love that you can see the temp of the water inside on the front. Will be really handy for preparing bottles if we ever have more babies!
