Milan is actually a true pink on me, not a brown-pink as advertised. It's definitely bright and not dark. I still like it, even though it's not a typical color for me. The best thing about this lip color is that I can eat an entire meal without it rubbing off. That's a rare lipstick! It does require a little extra effort to remove at the end of a day. Application feels nice; it's slick and glides on smoothly. It's instantly opaque with a shimmery metallic finish. It's fun but not an everyday lipstick.

Makes for a great gift

This was not even close to the color I normally use (which I was only replacing). This is a matte stain and what I received was metallic and not just little!! I put it on and didn't look in the mirror because it's my "everyday". Came out of the bathroom and my husband was like "WT*"! I looked crazy!

I was expecting a shimmery champagne kind of baby pink, based on the pictures. I also own a Milan shade lip liner, which is quite light - so I was definitely expecting this lip shade to be similar. I was shocked to see that instead, it is a very bright barbie-type shade of pink. Don't get me wrong, it's still a pretty color - just not at all what I was expecting.
