I am impressed with these boots. The most impressive thing is the weight: they are very light, and just like the other reviewer remarked, they feel like slippers in terms of weight. I walked a lot with them right out of the box and they felt extremely comfortable. The fit is excellent. The constructions appears to be high quality. Definitely will need thick socks for walking inside the snow: there is great insulation that extends to the arch of the foot, but beyond that, in the toe box, there doesn't seem to be any insulation. This appears to be a common design in winter boots for some reason. In these boots, there is extra insulation on top of toes, but not on the sides of toes. Anyway, the toes will want thicker socks. I usually wear 8.5. I ordered 8.5 and 9 to see which will fit. Even with thick socks size 9 was too big, but 8.5 was perfect. When I ordered, these boots cost ninety bucks. Now the price is doubled, which is crazy. They are great boots, but no boots should cost hundred eighty.

I was hesitant to get these boots. I wanted them because they were warm but I did not want black, gray or tan. I bought the alpine thinking they were going to be dark green and I was very excited when they were navy blue! They are warm and I wear a 7.5-8. The 8 is perfect.

I love love love these boots, though the fit was a bit smaller I was prepared for that and ordered a size up. They are really cute, actually they receive more compliments than most of my fancy designer shoes. The color is gorgeous and really pairs well with anything. Plus, the height of the boot on the calf is exactly what I was looking for, they are that perfect in between of ankle length short and knee length too tall.To give you an idea of wearability, I wore these for three nights in a row, eight hours each time, in Tahoe at a music festival. They were comfortable, they were warm, and they were great in the snow, ice, and mud we encountered.

These boots are super cute, warm, and very comfortable. I ordered a full size up as suggested, and they were perfect. There is one functional flaw to these boots though. The tongue of the boot is only attached on the top of the foot. From the ankle up, the tongue is not attached to the boot, so if they get wet above the ankle, they leak. So I don't recommend them for walking through deep heavy or wet snow. Great for walking around on the mountain between lodges, light outdoor play, or everyday errands, but not if they are going to get wet above the ankle.

Love the quality. Very very good in deep snow, and cold. Friend recommended she had for 5 years. Treated with leather treatment- will last and look new. Cute, good quality and durable.

I've had a different brand of snow boots before and they have always been very comfortable. These Helly Hansen ones are not. There is a hard piece of metal or something in both boots that pierces the joint near the big toe.

Amazing boots! I wear a 6.5-7 and I ordered a size 7 so I'd have room for thick socks and they fit perfectly with and without thick socks, just slightly more snug with thick socks. Extremely comfortable, the soles have cushioning in them so walking is a dream and my feet never get tired. I wear them all the time and have gotten many compliments on them. I wore them hiking recently with some deep parts reaching almost the top of my boot, my feet stayed 100% dry and never got cold when paired with some thick socks (honestly probably didn't even need the thick socks). The tread allowed me to climb and descend some very steep parts without ever slipping. Really solid stiching, padded sides… overall very happy with my purchase:)

I've been on the search for a great pair on winter boots forever. These arrived and I LOVE THEM. The are warm without being bulky and have great arch support. My only complaint is I ordered a 9.5 based off the size chart and the toe box was still too tight. I will be exchanging for a size 10.
