The ideal entry point
I usually overdo my research into a new product market like mechanical keyboards. After all that I've read, this is truly the best starter keeb. The weight helps keep it stationary and feels quality all around. Has a good thock for no mods! Amazing!

Great touch! I can type faster and more accurately.
I'm an older person. This keyboard has a feel similar to the wonderful weighted touch of the IBM Selectric or the IBM PCs of the late 1980s and early 1990s. It is so much easier to ensure that you're striking the right key--better for touch-typing.

This is like a modern-day 98% and an IBM Model M Frankensteins Monster in the best way.
I'm not a Keeb enthusiast, but I have collected a number KB's over the years. This KEMOVE K98 ticks all the boxes, and at an absolutely fantastic price. It really is the best keyboard I own, and I have keyboards that cost twice as much.My only slight dissatisfaction is only that of personal preference, I prefer backlit key legends and when I'm on the computer in the dark (which is most the time) I am having to look down on occasion to see what I'm pressing.. And the fact this keyboard has so many functions activated by hotkey combinations it makes it difficult to entertain the idea of swapping them Not to mention good luck finding keys that will fit this form factor with the right row heights and then you're still going to have to google for the manual in 6 months when you decide to use the Bluetooth functionality with your tablet or something. But honestly, the typing experience and the sound of each key depression, the feel and form of the keys are all so harmoniously perfect I can't stress enough what an absolute joy this keyboard is to type on. It almost feels like everything you write is enhanced just by the experience of using this keyboard. With all that being said, you can see that it's built to exude quality. And again it's all up to personal preference, but the build quality being indicative of those older retro keyboards leaves you limited in a number of areas. The form factor is large, the case takes up a not insignificant amount of desk space. While being a 98% it manages to slim down significantly over a full-size. It's still chonky in all directions, and heavy oh boy is it heavy. It's tall, there's no bottom end in adjustment. You will have to use a palm rest or your hands/wrists will fatigue. Even with one I still tend to feel tightness in my hands after typing for a couple hours. But again, if you're going for that look, or that typing experience. It's difficult to replicate that without the girth and heft of an old school Model M. It's just very noticeable when you fit nearly 5 Lbs into a device 2/3rds the size of a Model M.Either way, I think I found my forever keyboard maybe? I just wish it had an END key to accompany the home key. The sub-legends on the front of the keycap don't count for me. I kind of would prefer to have it be just a couple mm wider, and include an End, R-Ctrl, PrtScn. But there are sacrifices to be made for anything less than 100%, the keys chosen give you the most functionality.

Really Nice Keyboard
I didnt know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised! I've been using this keyboard daily for a couple months to replace a louder keyboard plus its footprint better fits my smaller desk setup atm. This thing is actually quite heavy and sturdy feeling. I have only used it plugged into to USBC so im not sure how it functions wirelessly. The RGB is nice though it could use a simpler design since there are several buttons that cycle various zones. But it works quite nice.Out of the box I had an issue with "3" sticking or sometimes not functioning but after repeated use its no longer giving any issues and every key I have used works flawlessly. To be honest this keyboard has many more functions than I have used so far but for general use and playing Warcraft Classic it's met every need. I love that its fully featured with a numpad yet with a minimal footprint. That and the mechanical keys feel and sound nice; clicky but not too much and also crisp but not heavy.

My 2nd Favorite Mechanical Keyboard
I snagged a EPOMAKER 75% mechanical Keyboard a few weeks ago, and I fell in love, yet it wasn't my ideal keyboard because I'm used to a 95% with numpad. So I snagged this KEMOVE K98 because I really missed that numpad.I snagged the K98 with The "Quiet Red Linear Switches"Previously I've only used the EPOMAKER with "Flying Fish Switches" as my first mechanical keyboard experience, and i'm not sure i'm fond of these Red switches compared to the Fish. These are almost too subdued towards the end of their stroke for my liking. Also, i'm not a keyboard aficionado, so i'm not sure if this is normal but some of the switches aren't consistent, im sure its the size of the space bar but it gives a much harder hit at the end of the stroke. The RGB effects are ok, not a very wide variety of choices like others.I didn't find a way to change the color of the RGB strip at the bottom in their software. The weight of the keyboard is good, nice and heavy so it cant be pushed in those spirited sessions.Im personally a wired connection sort of user since i've had lag issues with BT in the past, so Unfortunately I didn't test the BT or battery life, although i love the fact that the Dongle has a home on the underside of the keyboard. On to the last topic for the keyboard, the software. There is the option to set multiple profiles. You can do custom macros in their ware'You can set custom User defined rgb lights other than the 15 On-board preset patterns (I personally like the reaction presets)There is a tab for function set? This i am not familiar with Im sorry. Finally there is a music tab so the board reacts to music. There isn't much else to the software besides microsoft warning you that the program is unsafe to install. (I wonder why i get my card info stolen all the time lol...... Just Kidding.)Overall its not a bad board for the ask honestly. Yet i wish these board makers would get with the program and allow the board to be controlled by your RGB software your already using. I think i've got at least 5 different programs for RGB control..... is dumb and sad, make a universal standard, like they do for everything else on PCs.Its a great board, but maybe go to a brick and mortar, and test different keys styles before ordering, unless you already know if you like the key presses from these switches.
