I love sealing foods in jars to extend the shelf life. I was so happy to get this attachment. I use a Nesco sealer and it works perfectly. Can extend the life of my veggies and fruits in the fridge as well.

This fit great with my vacuum sealer. Little difficult to use at first but once you figure it out it works great.

It works great and I've used it for sealing all types of jars so far.

Good pricing and the quality is also very good

After multiple attempts without sealing success, we tried sealing with our own hose and connector that came with our Foodsaver to be used with the bag sealing kit. This worked. We will keep because the regular and wide mouth lid sealers will work with our hose but the attachments and hoses supplied with this kit are incompatible and worthless. FYI: the vendor listed this would work with our model Foodsaver FM2900.

I love these things. They seal the jar after pulling all the air out! It is great for storing items, like nuts, candies, chocolate chips, coconut flakes, and anything that does not need refrigeration, (shelf-stable goods) are kept longer without air to contaminate it.

At $19.99 this is the cheapest of these similar type units - It was also the most intriguing to me. It operates a little bit different from other similar units in the sense that you insert the cover for the jar into the unit. It takes about 20 seconds although sometimes it has taken longer which makes sense considering some jars are less or more full. This sealer has sealed every jar I have tried it on even some smaller jars that could NOT be sealed by my other more expensive ones. I was actually about to purchase a manual sealer because I no longer had confidence either of the other two I now own would work long term or even short term actually. I have had to replace both of the sealers I own and believed it would only be a matter of time before they stopped working.This sealer has worked from the 1st time I used it but it also worked so much easier and with less fussing. I am not 100% convinced that 20 seconds is long enough for a very good seal. So now I use this unit 1st till it auto shuts off, then use one of my other sealers which then also go on easier & come off easier to vacuum longer. I do this for my own peace of mind as I own nothing that can tell me how much air these sealers actually remove. My only real tell is that the Juice I seal does indeed taste as fresh 3 days after sealing as it did the 1st day. This sealer can also be used with many Vacuum Bags & Containers. So to answer the question of my Headline : You get a LOT MORE then you pay for with this Sealer.
